Great addition to a great series! I am always excited to read a Katie Scott book. This one did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, I think it might have been my favorite one. Great story. Great characters. It was a whole new side to Katie - vulnerable and yet still strong and determined. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her and Cisco.
Definitely recommend reading this series in order.
Thank you #netgalley and #bookouture for the eARC.

This is a particularly harrowing case for Katie Scott. Not only is she tasked with tracking down the man who has been murdering teenage girls but now the mother of a missing girl has been murdered. And Katie doesn't believe in coincidences. This is a fast paced read with plenty of tense moments. It had me gripped from the very first page and knew then and there that this was a book to be read in one sitting. While this is part of a series of books it can be read as a stand alone story. However I would be very surprised if a first time reader of the author's work didn't go on to look up the rest of the series.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book

Thirteenth book in this series featuring Detective Katie Scott, her colleagues and Cisco.
A tricky case to solve requiring grit and determination. A good read.

Det Katie Scott is on the hunt for a young girl's killer.
A woman is killed right after approaching Katie at a seminar
she is presenting and dies asking Katie to find her daughter.
After the woman dies in the parking garage from a gunshot,c wound, Katie takes
on the job of trying to discover what happened to the woman's teen daughter.
And suddenly, it appears there is possibly a serial killer on the loose.
Suspenseful, intriguing and very addictive, making it a genuine hard to put down read.
Characters are very easily relatable and very interesting.
Good read for sure.

Welcome home. That is how it feels when I get my hands on the next book in a great series with a cast of characters you love, and this installment is no different as we are emersed in the characters' lives that are changing, evolving. Pulled in from the beginning and the closer they come to finding where the killer may be hiding, the more gripping and edge of your seat reading it becomes.
In Find My Daughter, there is action from the very start when Katie is presenting at a conference and approached by a woman asking her to find her daughter who has gone missing, but shortly after speaking the woman is killed in the car park. As they chase down the killer, trying to come up with a profile of a man referred to as the Million Dollar Man, who has many disguises and MO’s, both Katie and Gav find themselves in danger, and Katie will go against orders, risk everything, including her career to catch this killer before it’s too late for someone very near and dear.
This book we have a newcomer to the team, a new fire investigator who Katie and Gav meet when they head to the scene of a house fire where their missing teenager has been found. It might take a little longer for them to warm up to him. Detective Daniels is also back on the scene, teaming up with Katie and Gav on this latest case as it crosses jurisdictions.

Jennifer Chase is a new author for me and this book Find My Daughter was exceptional! The main characters Detective Katie Scott and her partner McGavin were well developed along with the rest of her team. Suspense, plenty of action and mystery makes a good read and difficult to put down!

I really like detective Katie Scott. I need to order some of the older books because this one was awesome!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc in exchange for an honest review!

I am a big fan of this series all amazing reads, Detective Katie Scott is giving a talk at a conference. at the end a woman comes up to her and says find my daughter.as Katie goes to her car she hears a nose and finds the woman who confronted her dead. Katie and her partner look into the missing girl. but sadly, she is found dead in a burnt down house. and then the dead girls' best friend goes missing. a very intense read as the killer is clever. but not as clever as Katie and her partner oh and not forget Cisco, so recommend this series

Another propulsive and gripping addition to the Detective Katie Scott series! I’ve been a long time fan, and this one was no exception!
The team dynamics in this series are exceptional, I truly love the partnerships, the trust, and the family they’ve built over each book. Cisco, Katie’s German Shepard, is probably one of my top favorite parts about these books, he’s such a fun and unique addition to each case and storyline. I’m hoping in the next book, Katie can find some peace and move forward more in her personal life.
This book gripped me right from the get go, and man, that last 20% was wild! Chase knows how to write a really intense finale showdown, and she never ceases to surprise me! My ONLY complaint is how repetitive the backstory has started to get in explaining each character and situation. I’m sure it’s great for those that are jumping into the series now instead of from the beginning, but as a long time fan I have had to start skimming some of those parts to move along the current timeline and plot.
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC in exchange for my honest feedback!

I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I am a big fan of this series and even 13 books in it still does not disappoint. This time we follow Katie, Gavin and the crew trying to find out about a missing teenage girl after her mother comes to them distraught that nothing has been done. When the girl's friend goes missing as well, it is up to Katie to find out who this "Million dollar man" is and what else has he been up to. This story kept my interest from start to finish and it did not disappoint.

Get ready to hold on to this book and not be able to let it go! I was amazed how suspenseful it was. I just melted for the main character and her journey.

I really enjoy this series, featuring Detective Katie Scott and her dog, Cisco. Katie and her partner are on the trail of a missing girl in this latest episode. There is plenty of tension and action in this fast paced read and it is well plotted too. The characters are well developed and there are some interesting new characters being introduced. The ending seemed a bit rushed but it's still worth reading. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

"Find My Daughter" was my first book in the Katie Scott series. Katie, McGaven, and (especially!) Cisco had me hooked from page one. A gripping story of missing girls, cryptic clues, and a killer who seems to have mastered slipping through the detective's fingers. The plot and piling clues kept me flipping the page. This is the perfect book for anybody looking for a fun mystery. I can't wait to read the rest of the Scott series!

This is my first Jennifer Chase book. It was definitely worth reading! I really enjoyed the plot. I would love to read other Jennifer Chase books in the future.

This is another of my favourite series. I read it in one sitting as the plot was moving quite quickly. The characters are easy to like and seem realistic so are easy to care about. I don't think its entirely necessary to read them all to enjoy each individual book since they give the basic history in each. I had a few suspicions of who the culprit was, but I was wrong. Another 5* review from me

Find My Daughter is a page-turning addition to the Detective Katie Scott series by Jennifer Chase, and it is an addictive thriller. From the very first chapter, the tension builds as Detective Katie Scott is thrust into a chilling case involving a desperate mother and her missing daughter. I could not put this book down.
Katie's investigative journey is emotionally charged, as she navigates through the complexities of family ties, secrets, and the dark underbelly of a seemingly quiet community. The character development is great; Katie shines as a tenacious and relatable protagonist, driven not just by duty but by a deep sense of empathy for the victims and their families.
The twists and turns are well crafted, leading to a heart-stopping conclusion, which I appreciated wasn't drawn out or overly convoluted. It ended with enough action and intrigue but wasn't weighed down my over-the-top fighting or over descriptions.
Overall, Find My Daughter is a captivating page-turner that combines a gripping plot with rich character development. The author has delivered a thrilling story that will keep both longtime fans and new readers eagerly anticipating Katie Scott's next adventure.
I would highly recommended this book and series to anyoe who loves a good mystery with a strong emotional core.

First off a big thanks to the publisher as well as to the author and NetGalley for letting me continue with other all time favorite series of mine. As to why it's a favorite series is because of the characters themselves and how the author always comes up with twists and turns that come out of no where .And how you get lost in the story it's no matter what . Plus though out the book you have no idea who the bad guy is , and the interacions between the main character's and the new ones had me turn to figure out who I would love to see our beloved Katie with. But over all no matter who she ends up I'm still looking forward to the next book.

I was lucky to read an ARC of this book which is the latest in a series I have really enjoyed.
What I like most about this series is the role of K9 Cisco. Adds an interesting layer to a detective series, seeing the role of the search dogs. There were a few red herrings in this book, which kept the surprises coming. Fast paced and flowing plot, and we saw more of Katie's mental state which is understandable if you have read the other books, but it does work well as a standalone book too. It's good to see the relationships she has built developing further, with not too much emphasis on her personal life. I'd like to see more of the Fire Investigator in future books too.
There were some brutal killings in this one, teenage girls going missing and arson among the main themes.
I found the ending slightly disappointing, as we had been lead in so many different directions, so it felt a bit low key.

Still recovering from a break-up in her personal life, Detective Katie Scott is forging ahead with her life. When speaking at a law enforcement conference, Katie is confronted by a woman who pleads to her... Find My Daughter. After the woman is escorted out, and Katie heads to the parking garage, Katie comes across the woman again - only this time she's been attacked. And her final words are again... Find My Daughter. Katie and her partner, Gav, (one of the all-time best supporting characters) are drawn to the missing person's case - even though it's not technically a cold case. They start searching for the missing girl, and in their investigation, discover that her best friend, Jasmine, as also gone missing. When the first girl is found murdered, it opens the case wide open and creates a multi-jurisdictional team, including Evan, Katie's friend from the military. Ms. Chase places so many twists and turns in this book - it is an absolutely fantastic read! I can't wait to see where she takes Katie next. A huge thank you to Bookouture for an advanced reader of this book. The opinions expressed are my own.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.
With two teenage girls missing, Katie and McGaven are on the case. Then the on of the girls mothers is murdered and the girl found dead shortly after. With a killer who seems to change repeatedly and clues that make no sense, can they find the killer.
Wow wow wow. This was so good. It was exciting, fast paced, and impossible to put down. There were no hints to the killers true identity until right at the end. I found myself doubting some of the good men in Katie’s life. I enjoyed detective Daniel’s return and I’m rooting for a new romance! The partnership between the two main character is amazing. They are written so well and you can see how they care deeply about one another. My only gripe was that Cisco didn’t feature as frequently, but I was pleased to see feature heavily at the end. I just love that dog and the thought of him being in danger was scary.
Cannot wait to read the next one!
