This is another great book by Daniel Hurst. It would be terrifying to have your baby swapped at birth and no one believes you. There are plenty of twists and turns and a shocking ending.

This is only the second Daniel Hurst book I’ve read but I am already wanting to read them all!
After a busy day, I found it an easy read without having to overthink everything.
It’s definitely a book that back in the day when I didn’t have kids I would have spent a day reading as I couldn’t put it down.
I enjoyed the little twists throughout rather than necessarily building up to one big one, although the twist was great!
Hopefully I can read all his others before any more are written!

Wow another fantastic read from Daniel hurst.
I love this the swap and the way the story unfold. Suck a twisted web

This was phenomenal I was genuinely confused throughout the entire book. It kept me guessing who was being honest and I loved it.

Thanks to the publishers and net galley for an advanced economy in exchange for a review. This book is a face paced thriller that follows Avril and Jade following the birth of their babies in the same hospital. At the very beginning we learn that the babies have been swapped at birth but we don’t know why. As we read on we see that it’s in revenge for when their paths have crossed in the past. This is an easy read and page turner with the characters very unlike able although this was obviously done deliberately. A quick enjoyable read. 3.5 rounded up to 4

Thank you to Daniel Hurst and Bookouture for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is my second book by this author and it did not disappoint. I will say at times reactions or events did seem unrealistic in some ways but, this is fiction! To be expected to a degree. Definitely not my last read by Hurst. Happy to have found this author and his writing style is right up my alley.

Wow! What a fast paced, addictive, thriller! This was my first Daniel Hurst book, but definitely not my last. This story kept me hooked from the first page! I enjoyed getting multiple POVs throughout the book, and especially with the twist at the epilogue. Highly recommend reading this book!!

ARC review: The Baby Swap by Daniel Hurst. I’ve read afew by this author and love these quick, twisty reads.
Averil is recovering in the hospital after having baby Luca, when unbeknownst to her, the woman in the next cubicle, single mum Jade, swaps their baby boys. There’s a deep dive into the past, which slowly reveals Jade’s motives for the swap.
I have to be honest and say I’m still not 100% sure why she felt the need to swap the babies, but overall, the book was intriguing and very suspenseful. I certainly didn’t pick the ending! Short, sharp, and cleverly written, this was an easy read that kept my attention all the way through.
Thankyou to the author, Daniel Hurst, NetGalley and publishers Bookouture for the advanced copy, it’s available for purchase now.

This was a fast read with a good twist!

ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

The Baby Swap is a fast paced psychological thriller. It started out a little slow, but then got pretty interesting and picked up momentum! Some of it was a little predictable, but other twists I didn’t expect. Overall it was a pretty good book and will be reading more of his books in the future!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC!

This was what you call addictive reading! Which incidentally is nothing more than I've come to expect from Hurst. He certainly knows how to keep you hanging on the edge of your seat!
The plot starts off strong and the pace is set from the opening pages when we find ourselves being witness to two newborn babies being switched. Whilst I'm not a mother myself, books that involve children or babies always add to the tension and suspense, in the hope the mother gets her child returned safely.
Told from the POV of both new mothers, Hurst takes us on a twist strewn journey chucking in a few clever reveals as we head towards the penultimate chapter and the jaw dropper moments!
Another brilliant book from one of my go-to thriller authors.

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
✨ Lies
✨ Postpartum depression ⚠️⚠️
✨ Multiple POVs
✨ Revenge
✨ oh Daniel! Finally! My 5 start in ages from your book recently ! You are so back😁
✨first off, well done to Tamsin Kennard as always doing voice overs for Daniel hurst! Always fit the story and she is outstanding as always⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
✨ Some of the topics here are very much trigger for new mums. A postpartum depression or just hallucination? Avril has some lies why Jade made her do what she have to do. I feel the emotion of Jade here as she wants to be a career driven woman but avail makes her life unbearable.
Does she deserve the swap? Does she deserve to suffer?
✨ A suspense ending with a twist at the end that makes me give the 5⭐️. Definitely worth to read and fast paced! mind you, it’s utterly gripping so you may want to finish what you doing before reading the book.
✨ Thankyou @bookouture for the opportunity to read this book for a honest review.

I wonder how many times this has actually happened in real life. And like how many times did no one notice ever. Especially before all the advances in security. Loved this book so much. Couldn't stop reading.

Daniel Hurst did it again, how does he come up with these stories?? This book is full of twist and turns that's going to have you on the roller coaster thinking what the f, what did this really happen. Great job on the characters I think they fit perfectly. All in all I get this book 10., no a 100.. I think this may be my favorite book. And I just want to give a thanks for giving me the chance to review this book before it was available to the public...

I’m always happy to read a Daniel Hurst book! His books are fun! The Baby Swap is fast paced, thrilling, suspenseful and crazy. Both Jade and Avril are having babies in the hospital at the same time. Each mother looks familiar to the other. How do they know each other? What bizarre things have happened in their pasts? And how far are they willing to go to right the wrongs of the past? Even though some of the characters are doing unethical, criminal things, I found myself rooting for them. And what about the babies and the fathers? Who is good? Who is bad? And is there ever a valid excuse for bad behavior? The Baby Swap is full of classic Daniel Hurst thrills and insanity. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the digital ARC.

The Baby Swap is another great thriller that you've come to expect from Daniel Hurst. Imagine being in the hospital and giving birth to your first child. You're in a room with other mothers that have just given birth. You are separated by only a curtain. One of the mothers waits for it to be the middle of the night, when everyone is asleep, to get revenge on the woman who ruined her life. How will she do this? By swapping her baby with the woman's. No one will notice if she can be quiet, the babies stay asleep, and no one wakes up. She swaps the clothes, the ankle bands with the baby's name, and the swap is complete. Was it really that easy?
Why would someone go to such lengths to get revenge? What did the other mother do to this woman? Will the mother notice that the baby is not the same one as before? Will her husband notice? Luckily, the woman with the evil plan looks very different than she did before. It's been years since the woman ruined her life and she didn't recognize her in the hospital. She looked right at her and had no idea who she was. Could this plan really work? This book will have your head spinning with all of the twists and suspense! It's a quick read as you can't put it down! I rate The Baby Swap 4 stars with a high recommendation. I'd like to thank NetGalley and Bookouture for an advanced copy of The Baby Swap in exchange for a fair review. This book keeps you on edge and keeps you guessing until the shocking end. Thanks, Daniel Hurst for another exciting read! #TheBabySwap

This story has some shocking twists and even the title had me questioning what was happening.
I enjoyed the multiple perspectives and the time slots going from present, then past, the present again.
The ending was truly the best part. I never could have guessed what was going to happen!

Thank you to netgalley for allowing me to review this book.
The book pulled me in right away! Though, I have to admit, there were moments where it dragged a little, and I found myself wishing the pace would pick up. The way the book was written was top-notch, as expected from Daniel. He just has a way of making you get intrigued with the story.
I absolutely loved the epilogue, it tied everything together so perfectly. The twists were solid—maybe not the kind that make you drop the book in shock, but definitely enough to keep me flipping pages.

Another fantastic read from Daniel Hurst! This is my second book by this author, and I can’t wait to read more. I love how fast-paced and easy his books are to read. The short chapters kept me hooked and made it hard to put down. I also really enjoy how he uses different perspectives and POVs, providing great insight into both main characters.

Wow! Daniel Hurst has done it again! Another heart pounding can’t put down thriller! Jade is a down on her luck single mom who has just given birth. To her horror, she realizes the woman laboring in the bed next to her is the woman who ruined her life. She makes a split second decision to exact revenge. Will she get away with it? Who will ultimately come out on top? Really fantastic book with a surprise ending! Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read another amazing ARC from Daniel Hurst!
