This was definitely a thriller. Perfect during my walk. I was hooked immediately and was left wanting more.

Captivating collection of stories, a bit eclectic and unique. Definitely worth reading. Will recommend to my friends and followers.

This was a quick read and it made for a nice change of pace. While it was definitely predictable, I had a fun time.
Overall, I would recommend this for someone who wants to just enjoy the ride.

Till the Last Piece: The Perfect Recipe for Murder is a gripping psychological thriller. The story centers around Amber, a wife and mother whose life changes when she gets a mysterious package that reveals some seriously shocking secrets.
The plot is engaging, with each chapter uncovering more layers of lies and betrayal. The suspense builds up perfectly, leading to an ending you won't see coming. The writing style is gripping and full of tension. I thought the characters were well-developed. I was hooked from start to finish.

"Till the Last Piece" is centered around betrayal, vengeance, and the dark places to which those emotions can lead. It's a quick, engaging read that will leave you pondering the nature of justice and the lengths to which a person will go when pushed to their limits.

** spoiler alert ** I got it as an audio book not realizing how short it was. Really wanted to love it, but it just didn’t deliver. It is repetitive, the characters are like caricatures, from the evil husband and the conniving mistress to the wife who decides on murder in less time than it takes to wash the dishes. The mystery is not a mystery at all - as soon as she makes the cake it is clear what will happen. It reads like a writing exercise of a student writer who did not have time to come up with a better plot.

Macabre Minutes #1.
This was fine I guess for a 30min free listen.
It's quick to the point, and the story is decent enough, though it's definitely easy to suss from a mile away. I feel like it's the kind of plot you read and then swear you've read before elsewhere. So it was okay, but nothing outstanding.
My biggest issue was the narrator - she was fine, but she sounded more like a lil old grandma reading a bedtime story than a vengeful young wife. I just never got into the true horror headspace of the story because I was waiting for some kind of grandma/little old lady twist.
There's not enough here to really recommend, but if you're after a short listen and you have NetGalley it's an easy way to kill 30min.
With thanks to NetGalley for an audio ARC

I really enjoyed the concept of the story—it's a perfect short read for a car ride! The premise had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the plot felt quite predictable. There were also moments where certain parts seemed to repeat themselves, which made the pacing drag a little. Still, it's an easy and quick read if you're looking for something light and uncomplicated.

This 30 minute thriller delivers a completely fleshed out story in a small package. A woman's perfect life is turned upside down when she receives a package in the mail chock full of proof that her husband is cheating on her. Her decision to punish him is immediate and the punishment severe. The twist was extremely predictable, but the story and narration were enjoyable.

This audio book gave me the mental image of an old woman telling me a story in a dimly lit room by a fireplace. Loved it!
It’s mysterious, and easy to listen to! I enjoyed this one!

Till the last piece - Kenneth Cruz
What a load of rubbish! Read the blurb and thought it may have been good but man was I wrong! It was a lot shorter than I expected and the narrator was just boring 😴 Sorry not for me

This is an ideal listen for a short commute or lunch break. It’s around thirty minutes and is well narrated throughout. The story centres on Amber who thinks she has the perfect life until her dreams are unexpectedly blown apart and she seeks revenge. It’s rather predictable; I try to go with flow when reading and not wonder too much about what’s going to happen next, but I felt little surprise in this tale. It’s rather formulaic and although well written, I can’t say it excited me.

Till the Last Piece is the first instalment of Macabre Minutes and reminded me of the UK BBC series like.Tale of the Unexpected ( Yes Im that old! ) If you have never seem them, definitely YouTube them! This quick novella takes us on a journey of the twisted macabre of our FMC wanting out of an abusive relationship with a devastating conclusion. It's fast paced and direct, with the pay off being very obvious just as it happens. Saying this, it still took me by surprise and ws left with a OMG moment. Really enjoyed the balance between the pace and character building considering it was such a short story and Im looking forward to reading/listening to the rest of the books in this novella series.
This book was narrated by Dena Kouremetis and I loved her voice for this book. I hope that Kenneth keeps her for the narration of the rest of the books.
4.5 stars for Storygrah, 4 stars for other review sites.

Till the last piece follows amber, a woman with a seemingly perfect family, but looks can be deceiving, and things turn ugly.
This was a surprisingly short thriller. It was enjoyable and kept me wanting more. The story is well written, engaging and overall fun to listen to. Should I be given the opportunity to read it again, I would as it was definitely enjoyable. I recommend reading this book.

The heavy handed, unnecessary foreshadowing gives away the entire story. There is no natural progression between the starting and the end point. This super short story just rushes to deliver the end without any sort of build up.

3 stars! 🌟 Huge thanks to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the ALC! 💌
So… Till the Last Piece: A Perfect Recipe for Murder was a quick bite, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind I was hoping for. The idea of a short, suspenseful story sounded amazing, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. The plot? A bit predictable. 🧐 I saw that twist coming from a mile away—though it was still a decent "whoa" moment. The premise had so much potential, but the execution just didn’t grab me as much as I wanted it to. 😕🍰
The audiobook was nice, and the narrator, Dena Kouremetis, did a solid job setting the eerie tone. 🎧 But even with her great delivery, I just couldn’t fully get lost in the story. 😶
It’s a nice quick listen for a short break or a short drive, but I won’t be continuing the series. I’d probably recommend it to fans of bite-sized thrillers, though it wasn’t my cup of tea.

An excellent narrator but unfortunately a bit of a 'meh' story 😀
It lacks originality and tension, even the end was just slightly surprising but at the same time predictable.
I honestly expected more horror or even the slightest bit of mystery - unfortunately I think the author forgot to include them.

A quick listen for a morning or evening commute. Although quite short, it was well-written. I loved the writing style and words chosen.
The narrator did a good job, and I look forward to more from Kenneth Cruz.

I've always thought that the power of a good story lies in how long I consider it after the reading. I've been thinking about this story for a few days. It was a great story!

Absolutely devastating! Loved every minute of it! This short story is a must read! I can’t wait to read more from this author.
