This was my first book in the Norfolk series.
DI Ashley Knight has been new!y promoted. Two girls go missing and shortly thereafter a body is found. Ashley needs all the help she can get to figure out who and what caused this and realizes a nasty group of people smugglers are involved.
This is a good police procedural, but I wanted more information about Ashley's private life so I could get to know her better.
