I wanted to like this book because I was so intrigued by the story. I found the lead character Lara endearing and brave, but I'm afraid I was very offput by the bullying plot - I found it too difficult to read and engage with, which was perhaps the writer's intention!. This one wasn't for me, sadly. Thank you for the opportunity to read it and provide feedback.
