This Christmas by Katlyn Duncan

I believe I missed the part in the synopsis that said that this novella is.a follow-up to the author's full-length novel, This Summer. This Christmas can be enjoyed without having read This Summer, but I really encourage readers to pick the first book before this one because it will be more enjoyable that way. This Christmas is told well, good writing, but I much prefer my Christmas books to be on the warmer, lighter, fluffier side of things. The characters argued way too much for such a short book. It's much heavier than I expected from the cover. It also appears that this series has been abandoned, which is unfortunate.
