It's not just this being set in broad daylight that makes it a great diminution of the original story. Uninteresting characters want something or something else, while others don't want them to get it. I think. It's all far too vague and dull – these electric sheep are mighty woolly.

I have always loved the Blade Runner movie and the recent comics have been a great addition to the universe. When I was given a chance to read Tokyo Nexus I was really excited to see how a new home planet would work and what would happen. I have to say I was not disappointed. The story has the feel of Blade Runner (obviously) While introducing a new story and characters to enjoy. The line work and colouring are fantastic and suit the genre of the comic really well as well. If you are a fan of Blade Runner and the comics that have followed in the wake this is a must read.

As always thank you to Titan Comics for the advanced copy to review, my reviews are always honest and freely given.

I have loved all the Blade Runner books and films. This comic takes the story in a new, but familiar, direction. The Art work, narrative and characters are definitely representative of this world landscape. Replicants and Blade Runners clashing, just trying to live, find answers to their continued existence. And in the process, as usual, beat the villainous Tyrell Corporation. Well worth reading! Thank you to Titan Books and NetGalley for the Comic ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.

A Bladerunner story, set on a new home planet. The art was gorgeous, the panels were well done, and the world was brilliantly realised. I also enjoyed all the little extras at the end. I just found I wasn't terribly interested in the story, which unfortunately has dragged down my overall score.
