Haunted by the memory of a lost love, David finds solace only in his dreams where he can be with her. However, as time passes his obsession with this elusive dream girl begins to consume him, transforming into a nightmare more terrifying than any he could have imagined.
When I read the premise of the book, it was really interesting because it highlighted certain themes that interests me like obsession and relationships. I like to see how that dynamic works out for the end. We got to know alot about David's thoughts through his inner monologue and the way he expressed himself and felt around Edie. But, I did not have access to the book before this and I felt like I was missing parts of the plotline that continued. There were too many side characters and names that also didn't add value to the plot in my opinion.
That being said though, I do like the author's style of writing and I'd very much like to read his future works!

this was a good book! it had themes of love, obsession, and desire. It was good and well written! It had me engaged from the very start of the book and it was a good story. I did enjoy it, and I think this could make a good book club read
