This was set out perfectly with some really brilliant ideas as well as ways to adapt it, what other activities link we'll with it and tips on keeping everyone safe. As an ECT this has everything I need but i also think it would be beneficial for more experienced teacher for some different ideas to teach outdoors.

In this guide/text book, the authors provide many interesting activity ideas and explain how to do them when teaching science outdoors to young children.
The activities are easy-to-follow, feasible, interesting and suitable for the target age group.
I liked the variety of the topics, lessons and the how to steps were understandable/accessible.
