I wondered how the author would end this series and Forest Ever White did not disappoint. Author Sara Knightly continued to add new twists and turns to this storyline keeping my interest to the very last word. Readers will get more detail on the Count’s relationship with Airlend when they finally confront each other.

This book continues with some dark moments as well as a prophecy that needs to come to pass. I enjoyed meeting new characters and discovering old ones thought to be dead. Readers will be enthralled with the descriptive scenes and characters creating a fascinating fantasy storyline.

The ending was satisfying but in my opinion I would of liked a little more excitement. I still give it 5 stars.

I was so excited to finally read this book and it did not disappoint! Everything flowed well from start to finish and the characters continued to develop and thoughtfully grow. The pacing was good and this final story of the trilogy brought everything together for a really nice conclusion. Well done!

This is the third book in the The Everlight Series. This book follows Ivy and her friends on their adventures. It has a good romance with Jack and Ivy and an interesting magic system. Overall it was a good conclusion to the series.

The perfect conclusion to a wonderful series!

It feels rare to find a series that just gets better with every single installment, but Sara does that with these books. I loved each one more than the last, I loved watching the growth of these characters, I loved all the twists and turns and magic this world holds. I also loved how this beautiful trilogy accomplished so much, but still kept the books at a reasonable length. I feel like I lived the same amount of adventure and magic as I do in some other series that take 700 pages per book to explain things. But Sara's writing is just that good, she pulls you in and takes you on a journey in a way few other authors can.

If you're a fan of Emily Wilde, The Concealed, or you just believe in the magic of nature - you will want to read this series. And if you're one of those people that prefers to wait until all the books in a series have come out... then it's time to get to it! You won't regret a stroll through this world.

And Sara girl, if you ever want to take us on another adventure with Ivy - I'll be the first in line! <3

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts! And thank you to Sara, for a wonderful ride.

Forest Ever White is the final book in the Everlight series, and it wraps up the story perfectly. Ivy and her friends have escaped the Count’s castle, and must reach her father and get to the forest in time to stop the Count. Even though Ivy has discovered the reasons behind her father’s disappearance, there are still many secrets to be revealed. Ivy must navigate her new magic, a buried fate, friend and family relationships, and find a way to save the White Forest.

I have really enjoyed the Everlight series and Forest Ever White brings a great ending to the story. I enjoyed following the characters on their journey from the Count’s castle to the White Forest, and seeing the places they stop at along the way. Each character is dealing with their own struggles, as well as struggling with complicated friend, family, and romantic relationships.

Some new characters are introduced in the book, and I love that Knightly kept the characters in the series to a smaller scale. Fantasy books tend to bring in too many characters, and I felt like the Everlight series had just the right amount of core group characters, while bringing in a small number of side characters to support the story.

I found Airlend to be the most complex character throughout the series. She protects the forest, but the danger it is in, is because of one of her own mistakes from the past. Her relationship with Ember is strained, because of her overprotective nature to keep Ember’s magic subdued and keep her within the confines of the White Forest. She also doesn’t make things easy for the friends to work together to protect the White Forest, because of the many secrets she keeps.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable Young Adult series filled with magic, mystery, adventure, and coming of age characters, then I would highly recommend Forest Ever White.
