Slow, steady and detailed makes for an atmospheric, and complex read, that is worth the time and patience required, as it will stay with you for a while afterwards

There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

I wanted to like this, on the surface it should have been right up might street but alas, somehow it just didn’t click. I’m sad about it.
