Firstly, the cover on this is absolutely beautiful and I am absolutely obsessed with it !
The story was a whole vibe from start to finish and I loved it! I love a romance book so I was a sucker for it !
I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone who loves to read !!

This was so much fun! Paige is such a heartwarming character and her friends are more like family. Absolutely loved her family dynamics too plus the add in of Machete Lady. Looking forward to reading the next book.
I think one of my favourite things was having POV chapters from Cleocatra. As a cat parent I absolutely love that the cat is taken into consideration and the personality is so cat like as well. Superbly done.

Paige Turner just wants to find love and is sick of kissing frogs but doesn’t seem to have luck in the dating department. However, she always has her trusty best friend, Rhodes, to pick up the pieces. Rhodes has been in love with his best friend since they were in elementary school but never had the guts to say anything, now may just be the time.
Paige trying the blind date method was a fun way for her to meet someone new. I was a little nervous we would get to know the other guys but I loved we just got their nicknames and little bits. I am firmly team Rhodes/Roger!

After another failed relationship, Paige has her friend set her up love-is-blind style with three potential suitors, but one of them is unknowingly her best friend Rhodes.
This was a fun read as we get to know Paige who feels stuck in her life. I enjoyed her family and friends, but especially her relationship with Rhodes. He’s such a good friend and finally got the push he needed to try and be candid with her about his feelings. There are great characters and humorous moments and I enjoyed this one! It ends on a cliffhanger so be sure to also pick up her adventures in Yellowstone.

This book was OK. It was a fast fluff read though I had a hard time relating to the FMC as she's still living at home at 30+?! And she seemed really immature for her age - perhaps that's why she is still single LOL There is a second book in this series but I doubt I will continue to read about these characters.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

cute. thats what this book is. and i got stuck into the characters right away. should you ever fall in love with your friend. well, if romance books are to go by then yes you should. we've got our heroin who seriously needs to start believing in herself. and her best friend who needs to start believing in himself!
down on most things in life Paige needs a change. so when her friends set her up on an anonymous text dating service she agrees to go for it. because something needs to change.
Rhodes takes his shot. and on the sly makes himself one of her texters. and this is where in reality im screaming at the book going "no no no" whatever the outcome there is definitely going to be an initial "you lied to me" moment which brings me great angst in romance books.
but the characters were adorable. and why Paige didn't love Rhodes from the start i do not know.
i didnt know how this would end. because as we got closer to the end and there seemed to be no happy ending impending. and so one thing i would advice is to make sure youve access for book two...

I received an ARC of this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. It’s weird that such a short book would leave off on a cliffhanger, forcing you to read another equally short book for the conclusion. Maybe I’ll change my opinion on book 1 after I read book 2 but right now this was a miss for me. The blind dating over text concept was interesting but it actually ended up feeling creepy and made me dislike the MMC for the dishonesty. I did count at least 3 Parks and Recreation references which I found entertaining.

This is a super cute fast paced romance that will make you smile and get you SO attached to the characters in this book.

I enjoyed it. The book reads fast and I liked the premise of dating through text sight unseen, unique and fun! I struggled with the ages of the characters, living at home at 30+. I felt they should have been high school age and that would have made the story make a little more sense.

Oh gosh, I truly enjoyed this book! I could not put this fantastic rom-com down! It was such a beautiful story. The MMC's crush on his best friend and how he wants to reveal his secret but doesn't dare. I loved the golden retriever vibes. Rhodes is so adorable. Now, he is boyfriend goals!
I also loved that the FMC's cat has a few chapters! Cleo's POV is so cute.
Paige, the FMC, in search for her true love through a blind dating experiment. Now that's when things get interesting! I loved her personality a lot. Seeing her grow into an independent, brilliant woman.
I did not see that cliffhanger coming, though. I could not believe the book was already done. It was bittersweet. I can't wait to read Paige and Rhodes' next adventure!

Ah, I love a friends to lovers and this one did not disappoint (although I can’t wait to see how the story ends when Paige Turner Goes to Yellowstone in book 2!) This one was so good. I adore a man who has been pining for years (or in this case, literal decades) and has finally decided to put himself out there. Rhodes is just perfect.
This is a closed door romance with a couple steamy kissing scenes. I read this book as an Advanced Readers Copy via NetGalley. It releases March 4, so add it to your TBR soon!

This book had some elements that really worked for me and some that really didn’t. I absolutely loved the concept of three blind “dates” via texting. That premise was super cute and fun. I also love a good best friend pining for forever. Plus, some chapters are from the POV of the cat and that’s a major win.
But this book took too long to get to the blind date texting. It spent a lot of time talking about Paige’s past and her current (then ex) boyfriend. While it was a quick read overall, the first 40% felt long. I also really struggled with Paige as a character. She sounds like a teenager working through their need to never be alone despite being a grown adult who is nearly 30. It was clear that she had issues throughout this story and hadn’t dealt with them. Ultimately these challenges led to one of my least favorite things to see in a romance book…. A freaking cliffhanger.
Overall you may enjoy this book if you want something more fluffy and fun and enjoy a character who is still needing to do a lot of work on themself.
Rating: 2.5 stars rounded up to three for the cat chapters.

This book cute looked cute based on the book blurb, but the characters and setting weren't really vibing with me.

This was a pretty funny rom com about Paige, a quirky girl working at a thrift store. She’s dated a lot and is looking for the one. Parts told from the cats POV were quite entertaining. Looking forward to reading the second book. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

This is a fun, quirky, and humorous rom com that you'll love to read this spring/summer! The banter between Paige and Rhodes was amazing and both characters are so great together.

A romcom with a cat's POV? I didn't know I needed it, but I did.
Paige has found herself living in her parent's basement, working at a thrift store (where she finds AMAZING things, might I add) and dating the wrong men. Introducing a blind dating experiment where Paige will chat with 3 men she's never met (or has she?) to try and find her Mister Right without ever seeing his face.
Enter contestant number 1: Rhodes has been Paige's best friend since they were kids, but he's also been secretly in love with Paige and she has no idea.
Will Paige have the same feelings for Rhodes when he's just words in a text? How will she react to finding out he's one of her mystery men?
I absolutely adored this book. I thought the characters were extremely relatable and I absolutely love the relationship Paige has with Rhodes. This book does end on a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what Paige, Rhodes and most importantly Cleocatra get up to in the next one.
Thank you Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op for the ARC!

This book has a fun and quirky rom-com feel, but the sense of humor isn’t for me. DNF.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

This book had an interesting premise. I thought there would be more focus on the main character "blindly" dating the different bachelors. I really enjoyed Rhodes, the male lead. He had all the qualities to make you swoon. I would like to see where the story goes in the sequel to see if there is more development with the character relationships.

Thank you NetGalley, Christina Hill, and Victory Editing for the ARC!
This was a cute fast read about Paige a serial dater who can never seem to find the one and her best friend Rhodes who is secretly in love with her. After her family scares off her last boyfriend ( he was the worst anyways), she agrees to be set up by her coworker with three guys who she will communicate via text instead of meeting face to face. What Paige doesn’t know is that her BFF Rhodes is one of the guys and he is ready to share his feelings with Paige.
This was a cute fast read and the highlight was the chapters from Cleocatra’s POV! She was the highlight of the book! If you’re looking for a cute friends to potential lovers this is the one for you! BEWARE! You will need to immediately pick up the next book to see how the rest of the story unfolds!

This book has me in a chokehold. Scratch that, Rhodes has me in a chokehold. I don’t think I’ve been this obsessed over a fictional man in maybe EVER. My favourite trope is friends to lovers and by all things holy this book reminded me of why exactly that is 😭
