This is probably the prettiest book I have ever seen. The colours, the inclusivity, the details, the prose… I was left shocked by the end, by how cute, nostalgic and melancholic this simple children’s story was. Following season after season, we get to see the colours change and people grow.
I would absolutely recommend this.
Thanks to NetGalley for a copy.

What a dreamy and whimsical book. The verses flowed and had movement like the winds carrying the seasons. The illustrations are magical and really draw the reader in. Overall, a beautiful book that I can't wait to buy and save for my daughter.

Read this to my daughter (6 years old) to go along with a Welcome to Spring meditation event she participated in at our local bookshop. I stumbled on some of the verbiage while reading it the first time and found the font size difficult to read off my phone, but she absolutely loved the illustrations, with fall being her favorite! Very vibrant and eye catching.

This was a sweet bedtime story with unique illustrations. My only note is that the text was hard to read on the background colours on some pages. Maybe this will differ in the printed book!

I was drawn to this because of the cover and title. I love finding books about the seasons to share with my students.
This story serves as a bedtime story, where children dream about each season to come. The illustrations were so lovely, just whimsical and full of color. I loved the things chosen for each season, things kids can easily find outdoors and identify.
Thanks to NetGalley and Arctis Books for the ARC of this previously published book. All opinions are my own.

Before I launch into my review, I would like to say a huge thank you to Haddy Njie, Lisa Aisato, Arctis Books, and Netgalley for the Digital Reader Copy of this title. For anyone with their eye on this title, here is my personal review of the book to help you decide whether you are interested or not. All opinions offered are my own.
Kirkus Reviews was not lying when they wrote, ‘Readers of all ages will happily study the painterly illustrations for seasons to come, and the verse creates a soothing lullaby perfect for a nap at any time of the year. I was utterly blown away by the imagery surrounding the young girls in the book. They reminded me a little of Gustav Klimt mixed with a little Anne Geddes. I can see why Aisato is an international award winning artist. I actually had the read the book twice because I was unable to focus on both the illustrations and the words at the same time.
The book had a beautiful rhythm. I often criticize books written in rhyme for trying to squash a concept into a line and adding too many or too few syllables that the reader is thrown off the beat. This book was perfectly timed.
I appreciated the rhymes describing how seasons change and taking us through them in order. Young children will enjoy the sing-song melody as their care giver reads to them, whilst older children might find the text a little challenging on the surface level because of the verse construction. Overall, it is an absolutely stunning book that is creatively constructed. No need to walk or form an orderly queue. Run! Your copy of this 5 out of 5 stars book awaits.

A Dream For Every Season is beautifully written and illustrated. It's dreamy poetic, and the rhyming words are so fun. There are so many amazing vocabulary words to support language expansion.

Stunning illustrations accompany beautiful, simple yet profound words that remind all audiences of the truth in the seasons: that each stage will pass and that even in the most bitter of winters, the life, colour and joy of spring is only sleeping. A tonic for the soul for young and old alike!

⭐️ 5/5
This is a beautifully written and beautifully illustrated children’s book! We are immersed into the dreams of a child, themed around each season. My 4 year old and I were mesmerized and captivated by the magnificent, colorful details that each page displayed. The adjectives also that explain the dreams set us in each of the beautiful seasons so delightfully and peacefully.
I look forward to recommending this to my friends who are also parents of little ones!
Many thanks to Arctis Books for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

The illustrations in this are absolutely gorgeous, and I think this is one of those children's books that's worth purchasing just for the art alone. This book IS translated, and I think some of the language/phrasing that was chosen may be a little challenging and hard to follow depending on the age of the child this is being read to. But the illustrations do help to convey the process of the seasons changing well. Again, just breathtaking illustrations!

This is a beautifully illustrated children's book about the seasons. The pictures are magical and realistic with a touch of whimsy. My child enjoyed this greatly.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book. My girls loved this and want me to read into them every night.

Seasonal Insights
This book beautifully brought together a great opportunity for instilling the order and signs of the different seasons.
The illustrations were absolutely gorgeous, vibrant and really spotlighted the uniqueness of each season. It still had a consistent pattern to how the pictures were delivered to tie into the actual storyline.
To me this books cozy story time classroom/library reading time as a class. I think it would also make a great bedtime edition to a household as well.
I received a copy of this book from Haddy Njie. I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

This was so beautifully written that it was flowing off the page. It was easy to read, understand and was relatable. The illustrations were absolutely gorgeous as well.

Netgalley ARC - The art work is beautiful, though some characters are more cute and some are more disconcerting. I think the translated text itself works well.

Absolutely gorgeous. The art in this book is a marvel. It's magical and upliting—a true celebration of the seasons. Like the art, the story is also a beautiful reflection of the changing of the seasons. But the art. Have I mentioned how much I love the art?! It really is exceptional.

What a delightful and colourful book! The illustrations are beautiful, I like how they are centred on the pages, bold and bright. The story has a wonderful flow, reading it to my kids was fun. They like to repetition and rhyming. This is a lovely story illustrating how our seasons flow into each other, each taking their turn in taking us through a different journey.

A book of much credit – although while I'm crediting the illustrator with being really very good indeed, and with the translators for creating a wonderful poem, I can't pretend to know what the original writing was like. This slightly wordy picture book is a rhyme celebrating all the seasons – a nice chorus-like structure takes us from one to the next in turn, who is always asleep – Spring sleeps through Winter, and while Spring is active Summer is yet to wake, and so on. But each in turn comes up and does their thing, allowing us to celebrate with them anything from the blossoms and the "berries fit to squeeze" to the "last wasp of the year", which must be a first in children's literature.
As I say it's not the lightest textually – sometimes we get four long lines of couplets on the page, and in relatively small print, so this would be one to share perhaps. But the visuals are the selling point, humanising the quarters of the year so well and with such fine detail, and showing the seasons and other characters in bed so richly. Everything is rich and decadent for the eyes, and while the rhythm and line length can stumble at times, it's almost that for the ears too when using this as a read-aloud. A great success, and a strong four stars at least.

Just a beautiful illustrated book. My daughter loved this one. And we’ve enjoyed reading it multiple times I will be recommending it!

This is such a beautifully illustrated and written children’s book! My son loves rhyming narration and t kept his interest until the end. He loved looking at the pictures and pointing things out, like the flowers.
