I got a copy of this audiobook from NetGalley.
This was a quick listen, I finished in 2 days. The narrators were great. I took off one start because I felt like the way the cop acted was unrealistic.

This book was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I was listening. I thought I knew who kidnapped the girls but boy was I wrong. I could not believe at the very end of the book the kidnapper was who it was. I was shocked to learn just how many kids Ryan had and the twisted mess he created for his life. I would never have expected the ending. I hope Emily writes a follow up because I want to know what happened with Ryan and everyone who went to jail and what happens with Kerry and her lies and blackmail she’s holding over Ryan’s head.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!
Boy oh boy. This one really kept me guessing til the end. Everyone was corrupt in some way. I was able to guess a few ways but the actual twist, i never saw coming. And then the wrap up? Oof. It just kept going.
This was so well written and I loved it!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was one that you weren’t really rooting for anyone because everyone is pretty terrible? I liked the premise, and although maybe one too many, the twists were pretty good.

The Nanny Share is a non stop, drama filled, twisty popcorn thriller that will have your head spinning. Damn, this one kept me hooked from start to finish, it was absolutely addictive. There are so many secrets, lies to uncover and it was just an absolute treat. Yes you might have to suspend disbelief a little for how crazy the plot is, but trust me for this one it's worth it and it works.
The characters are truly all untrustworthy, despicable. They are all constantly lying to one another, keeping secrets, hiding things, omitting, it is honestly impossible to look away from. Once the twists and secrets start to unravel, they just keep coming! The author managed to keep me guessing all throughout and shock me with those unexpected twists.
Overall, this was a great, fast paced and highly entertaining popcorn thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. Filled with twists and secrets galore, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
🎧 The narration by Ashley Rose Kaplan was really good. She voiced all the different characters and I think she did great at giving them all a distinct voice to make them distinguishable. She brought suspense and emotions to the storyline. Very enjoyable!
✨️Thank you to @netgalley, @bookoutureaudio & @emilyshiner for my gifted ALC in exchange for an honest review.

A rollercoaster ride of a thriller that will have you completely gripped.
My head is actually in a spin. As someone who is never done complaining that I always guess the twist, this title was so jam packed with twists and turns, multiple characters, multiple pov that I didn’t even hazard a guess at the twist/whodunnit.
Everybody’s hiding something in this exclusive neighbourhood, none of the characters are as pure as they’d like the world to believe and everyone has an agenda, but after this day is out, everything will be laid bare and things will never be the same again!
The audio narration on this title was fantastic!
I highly recommend it.
Huge thanks to Bookouture Audio via NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this ALC in return for an honest review 🎧

This story is absolutely addictive!
When two little girls who live on the same block, share a nanny and whos parents used to be close friends go missing everyone is a suspect. This story brings all the lies, deception and drama between the families to the surface in the search for whats really going on.
Even the cop assigned to the case may be more connected to one of these families than shed like to admit.
Not as dark and twisty as you may expect of a book with kidnapping, adultery and blackmail at its core. This audio book was insanely addictive and kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out just how it all was going to come together.
My first by this author but definitely not my last. I will be keeping my eyed peeled for more bingeable thrillers by Shiner.

4.5 rounded up. A fun domestic thriller, perfect for fans of Daniel Hurst, Frieda McFadden, and Diane Saxon!
Premise- Two little girls go missing from their bedrooms in the same night. Their parents are ex-best friends, they share a nanny, and everyone is keeping secrets. Whose secret is responsible for the girls’ disappearance and will it be uncovered in time to save them?
This cast of characters was so messy in the best way. The adults are mostly not great people, but their secrets are juicy and drip-released to the reader, keeping me hooked chapter after chapter. I couldn’t tear myself away! The twists keep coming until the very end, so don’t get comfy… Top tier pacing.
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Ashley Rose Kaplan. She delivered an engaging, varied read with distinct enough character voices and tones that I never had any trouble knowing who was speaking/thinking. It was a great listen and I highly recommend enjoying this story in audiobook format!

This was a pretty good thriller! It had me hooked from the beginning! I had to know what was going to happen next. It kept my interest throughout the whole book. I listened to the audiobook and it was really good as well. I couldn’t stop listening to it. The twists surprised me. I didn’t see it coming. This is a new to me author. I definitely want to check out her other books!

I had a hard time with this one as I we all I enjoyed the story and I think consuming the audiobook helped a bit but there were some huge problems in the writing that I couldn’t get over.
First, the narrator Ashley Rose Kaplan did a decent job with the recitation of the material. She gave enough emotion to connect the story without going overboard. She spoke at an ok pace for the 1x speed but I speed it up to 2x to listen to the majority.
For the issues.
1) parents have missing kids but did not act at all like it. Everything that they did wasn’t anything that even a crappy parent would do if their 4 year olds weren’t in their beds in the morning.
2) the 4 year olds didn’t act like 4 year olds either. Some of the info given about them was incongruous with an older toddler.
3) the “twist” come completely out of left field. Good thrillers have a twist where when you find out you can slap your forehead and put all the pieces together, but here? No.
4) there was repetitive information that just wasn’t needed.
5) my pet peeve of authors using “bile burned the back of my esophagus”. It doesn’t make sense since bile is. It’s not in the stomach unless you have a medical condition of bile reflux or a situational issue of a completely empty stomach. It’s not a replace for a stress situation where STOMACH ACID rises up.
6) this needed a developmental editor as things with the detective/cop info just wouldn’t happen. I’m not going to say it as I don’t want to spoil things but it was frustrating.
Even with all that said, I did enjoy the bones of the story and I wanted to know what happened. So I am thankful to have gotten the ALC for free from Bookouture Audio through NetGalley to read which gave me the opportunity to voluntarily leave a review.
My rating system since GoodReads doesn’t have partial stars and I rarely round up.
⭐️ Hated it
⭐️⭐️ Had a lot of trouble, prose issues, really not my cup of tea (potentially DNF’d or thought about it)
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meh, it was an ok read but nothing special
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed it! Would recommend to others
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding! Will circle back and read again

The Nanny Share by Emily Shiner is a fast-paced, gripping psychological thriller that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The story follows a nanny who, after caring for two little girls, finds herself in a nightmarish situation when the children go missing. Living in the exclusive Blackwood neighborhood, the nanny knows more than she lets on—she’s aware of the unraveling marriages, hidden secrets, and the tension building between the two families. But when the girls are snatched from their beds, suspicion quickly falls on her.
The narrative is compelling as the protagonist struggles to maintain her innocence while hiding darker secrets of her own. The unraveling mystery keeps you guessing, with layers of intrigue surrounding the broken families and the nanny's past. As the police close in, the pressure mounts, and the question becomes: Who can we trust?
Shiner skillfully weaves tension, suspense, and unreliable narration, making the reader question every character’s motives. The story also explores themes of desperation, obsession, and how far someone will go to protect themselves, all set against a backdrop of wealth, secrets, and a neighborhood that hides more than it seems.
With twists and turns at every corner, The Nanny Share is a psychological thriller that will have you second-guessing everyone involved. Perfect for fans of dark domestic thrillers, this book is both chilling and thought-provoking, leaving you questioning who the real victim is in a web of lies and manipulation.
