Although erotica isn’t my normal genre of choice , the fact that this one was set in Venice really drew me to request it. Unfortunately it has taken me a long while to get round to it and this year I am really trying to catch up with reviewing some of the older books on my tbr. It has reignited my wish to explore Venice and it will go back on my bucket list.
It crosses several genres and combines a historical and contemporary storyline, with the added erotic scenes. Two women in entirely different times are connected to the love in Venice storyline told through a combination of diary entries and narrative. The characters were well drawn and interesting .
