I knew from book one of this series that I was going to fall in love with Cole & Ginger, but I did not expect to fall so hard. Up until now, Wade Ashby has been my favourite, but Law Daddy has now taken the top spot in my heart. I just adored everything about this story, but Ginger and Mabel's relationship was one of the stand outs throughout the whole book - they were just adorable together. The epilogue was absolute perfection - seeing the whole Ashby/Carter crew all happy with their kids, it rounded it all of superbly.

#RidingtheHigh #NetGalley.
4.5 star read - Paisley Hope is easily becoming a go to author for me!
Every book in this series gets better and better, as the characters continue to worm their way into my heart!
This small-town/cowboy-ish romance is the story i've been waiting for since Ginger and Cole first bantered their way across the pages in the first book! Heart felt and entertaining from the get go, this is a great fun read with a perfect amount of sass and spice (+cops come with their own handcuffs).
This story provides a great balance of tension and light fun moments, especially with the Daddy's Girls Trio!
Cannot recommend it enough!
Thanks to NetGalley and Random House UK, Cornerstone for this ARC (it's potentially made my year!)

This book was absolutely everything I needed! It was funny, sexy and kick your feet in the air adorable! A perfect addition to the Silver Pines series!

I love this book so much!! I can not begin to write about how great it was! I was hooked from the beginning and loved every page. My favourite of the series so far

‘I’d say we like each other a little more than we let on.’
I absolutely adored this book and don’t even know where to start with my review! Pretty sure I’m now going to be in a huge reading slump because nothing else sounds as appealing to pick up.
I’ve been so looking forward to Cole and Ginger’s story and not only did it not disappoint, it far exceeded my expectations, which shouldn’t surprise me given I never met a Paisley Hope book I didn’t love.
Ginger is Cole’s sister CeCe’s best friend so they’ve known each other a long time but over the past few years they’ve developed a close friendship of their own. A weekend in Vegas results in them waking up wearing wedding rings and unable to get an annulment, so they agree to wait 3 months before they can file for divorce.
Cole is a single dad to his 8 year old daughter Mabel, and Ginger moves in with them to help look after her over the summer whilst she isn’t working her teaching job and they’re keeping their marriage a secret.
I loved seeing how Cole and Ginger’s relationship grew. They already had such a strong foundation and little in jokes between them. Their chemistry was phenomenal throughout the story and their banter was top tier. Ginger and Mabel grew really close too and had a lovely mother/ daughter bond. I thought Mabel was a great side character who enhanced the story and wasn’t just there for the sake of him being a single dad or to tick some kind of box. The 3 of them becoming a team was lovely. I had a huge smile on my face throughout this book and didn’t want it to end!
Huge thank you to Paisley, Penguin Random House, and NetGalley for this ARC, I am so grateful to have read it early and highly highly recommend picking this book up when it releases on 8th May!

i went into this one without having read the 2nd and 1st book (they're on my list next!). the cover and the description sucked me in. i'm a big lover of small town romances and friends to lovers tropes as well.
cole. COLE. what a man. his heart is huge (*cough* not the only thing *cough*) and i loved the dynamic he had with his daughter and rest of his family. i friggin adored ginger too. she is independent and brave and has a heart of gold too. the banter between them had me smiling like a fool. the side characters were really loveable too, so i will be going on to read holding the reins and training the heart ASAP to find out more about them. very easily one of my favourite books.
if you're into elsie silver, lyla sage or bailey hannah, this is defs one to put on your tbr!

As a huge fan of the first two books I hoped this would have the same effect on me as the others and it did not disappoint!
This is Cole’ Ashbys book and I know those of us that have read the other have already guessed who his leading lady was going to be.
Cole & Gingers banter is always top tier and this has been built on in the previous books so it was no surprise to see that the connection these two had went beyond a friendship and to something so much more. I loved every moment in this book and it exceeded every expectation.

Not me both waiting and nagging Paisley for the release of this arc. Because I will never get enough of Silver Pines. Riding the High has filled that gap in my heart that was left after Training the Heart.
It was worth the wait for a bit of Cole Ashby action and after the development of Ginger throughout the other two books in the series, our girl finally got her moment.
Let’s start with the tropes. Single dad? Check. Secret marriage? Check. Small town, forced proximity, ‘it’s always been you’? Check, check and CHECK. (the G, iykyk).
Ginger is a fiery, fiercely independent character who has had a years long friendship with her best friends brother. To others, they’re frenemies, but the truth is deeper than what meets the eye. As a Congressman's daughter, Ginger has a particular image to uphold. As does the newly appointed town Sheriff.
Cole is juggling being a single dad to Mabel, with a deadbeat for his child’s mother, and taking on his new role as Sheriff. In typical playboy fashion, he spends his free time sleeping around, refusing to change the casual to serious at the expense of his daughter. Plus, the women that come and go, have never been the one he truly wanted...
Two people. Large expectations. A weekend in Vegas? What a better way to let loose? However, if rom-coms have taught us anything, Vegas + Alcohol + two people who are attracted to each other and refuse to act on it = an inevitable disaster.
Ginger and Cole find themselves in a difficult situation. While navigating how to handle their ‘accidental nuptials’ and keeping it to themselves, Ginger takes the role of Mabel’s nanny throughout the summer. Enter, forced proximity.
The development of their relationship and finally succumbing to the inevitable was done so well. At no point did it feel forced, but more of a natural development and acknowledgement of long repressed feelings. And the relationship between Ginger and Mabel was the most adorable thing I have ever witnessed.
I could write for hours about Riding the High, but I refuse to give too much away. I waited so long for this installment and not a single part of this book disappointed me. It was all that I wanted and more.
Fans of rugged single fathers, I suggest you get this on your TBR ASAP.
Thank you NetGalley and Penguin for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you so much netgalley and penguin for the ARC of this book. I am a huge fan of this author and this series and this book did not disappoint.
It was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I loved it. I read it in less than 24 hours because I was having the best time. It’s so fun, romantic and spicy!
The banter and the chemistry between the 2 main characters is fantastic.
I loved this book & highly recommend this whole series to anyone that’s a fan of small town, spicy, cowboy romance.

Move over Wade Ashby, there’s a new sheriff in town! Cole Weston Ashby is down bad and we stan an emotionally intelligent king. I knew I was going to love Cole + Ginger’s (and Mabel’s) story, I was not prepared for just how much. I had tears in my eyes at one point, I was absolutely Riding the High! I’m obsessed with the Ashby fam + everything that Paisley Hope writes. I’m so excited to see there’s a book #4 and #5 on the way, I can’t wait for Liv to get her very own happily ever after! See you soon Silver Pines!
Thank you so much Penguin, Random House UK and NetGalley for the chance to read this before it’s released on 8th May 2025! I’m already counting down the days so I can listen to the audiobook! 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

The Silver Pines series book I have been most excited for, Cole and Ginger finally get their story. A secret friendship spanning years leads to a drunken hook up with serious consequences. Cole has met his match with Ginger and navigating their lives together will be chaotic and fun! I loved this one so much, the single dad and friends to lovers is always a hit for me!
Thank you to netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

The fact I knew as soon as I read the prologue of this book that it would be 5 stars or over, should really tell you how much I love and trust Paisley Hopes writing.
This book has now entered my top 5 romance books ever read and also has become my #1 small town/ranch setting romance book. I am NEVER getting over this book. Truly obsessed 😭.
The crumbs in previous books ate, but when you find out that they had a secret friendship for years? FERAL. Ginger and Cole were the definition of partners in crime in the beginning of this book & I absolutely loved it. Their personalities are the best match for each other, you have Cole who TRIES to be so responsible but Ginger is so fun in the best way that he just ends up going with it. I really enjoyed how this book started as them building their foundation as friends, we got to see every step of the way, past and present and it felt like their chemistry and romantic relationship was so natural after reading that.
The chemistry, the banter, the back&forth had me so giddy. This is one of those books where your gonna be giggly & kicking your feet constantly because once you get Cole Ashby in a room with Ginger, he doesn’t hold back on telling her how he feels 🤭. Cole has 100% become my favourite Paisley MMC!!
Their love was so beautiful, they truly loved every part of one another and it was so sweet to read. The way they had each others backs through everything, it may of even been silently but you could just so feel that they were there for each other by the looks they gave or even their thoughts. There was so much genuine care between these two characters, it felt unmatched by any couple I have read. They were the definition of ride or die best friends turned soulmates.
Ginger & Mabel!! Their relationship repaired my heart after reading about Mabel’s relationship with her real mum in previous books & abit in this book. Mabel was actually the funniest little character. “Can you stop staring at my dad and help me cast?” she was so onto them 🤣. I feel like she was perfectly aged to! The domestic moments between the three of them were so perfect, their everyday life was a dream to read, filled with the fun, the growing up scaries and little anxieties which Ginger and Cole helped Mabel get over, the parenting was written amazingly!
The spice, I can’t write this review without mentioning it because 🙂↕️😮💨, no spoilers but please just read it!! The pacing had me on the edge of my seat, it built the tension so much that when it did happen I was screaming.
I feel like the Ashbys hold such a special place in my heart now! Reading Ivy & Wade bring their little girl into the world had be sobbing.
*below is about wade & his daughter - no spoiler quote*
“staring down into his daughter's eyes. She stares intently back at him, and it feels as though they recognize each other from another life.”
That quote has now become one of my favourite quotes, the emotion in that scene had me bawling.
I could write about this book forever, but once it releases on may 8th (UK) please go and read it!! Paisley should be so proud because that was an absolute masterpiece of a book 😭🫶
Thank you so much to Paisley Hope, Penguin Random House Publishing & NetGalley for the ARC! 🩵

I throughly enjoyed this book! Paisley is becoming one of my favourite authors because I love the way she writes romance. She blends banter with emotion so beautifully in this book that I couldn’t put it down. I could feel their feelings for each other coming off the page! And I loved that the “third act conflict” wasn’t predictable!

Single dad is one of my favourite tropes, there is nothing more attractive than a doting father. Cole is up there with the top single dad mmc’s. I am also not a fan of miscommunication or third act break ups so how this couple dealt with the drama, ticked all the boxes for me. Ginger and Mabel’s relationship was just so lovely to see aswell. This book is a light hearted, feel good small town romance. At the end I was trying to guess if there will be another book and who that couple would be!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for this Arc copy.

Arc
I have loved this series from the beginning and the couples have been incredible, Cole and ginger did not disappoint!
I read this book in one sitting like the rest of paisley hopes books this was 5⭐️
This book was everything I hoped for and more🫶I loved Cole in the previous books and his chemistry with ginger was amazing! Paisley knows how to write a good plot to spice book and I will read anything she writes. Cole and ginger were such loveable characters and I always love a trip to vegas where things get a little wild🤣 they are the definition of friends to lovers. One of my favourite things about this series is the family they are always involved and I loved Mabel, she was adorable and I loved how her relationship with ginger progressed.
Thank you NetGalley, Paisley hope and her team for sending me this ARC to review. All options are my own!
