This was a great summer book to read on the beach somewhere. You will fall in love with these characters as they discover what they truly meant to do and be. There are some pretty funny moments that will make you laugh and others that will make you want to cry. I loved this book so much! I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Lincoln Black meets Violet West and the sparks fly, the problem is Lincoln is leaving the states in 6 weeks and go back to Scotland to run the family empire.
Neither wants to fall for the other but it’s clear they already have.
A great story of love, families and going for what you really want.
Loved this book steamy funny and hard to put down.
Thank you @boldwoodeverafter @vhnicolsonauthor and @netgalley for a copy of this ebook.

This one surprised me by how much I enjoyed it! I am not the biggest fan of insta love, but this book may have changed my mind. I really enjoyed Lincoln and Violet's character. The chemistry that he had right off the bat was so good, and I really liked how he didn't know her already. They also had so much great banter and I loved how fiesty and strong Violet was, she was a working woman and I loved her so much. Lincoln came off as super confident, but it was honestly so nice to see a mmc with flaws and insecurities. It made him more "human" if that makes sense. I loved reading them grow together as well as independently.

If you like:
-Instalove
-Lots of banter
-small town romance
-spicy/steamy

This is for you!

My first read by VH Nicolson and there was plenty to like - a hot Scottish hero (Lincoln), Violet, a driven heroine needing to prove herself, plenty of workplace drama, and an extended family and friendship group. Some angst, miscommunication, family drama and so on.

It started off feeling like a set up for erotica, which didn't do the plot justice and I couldn't shake the feeling that all the shenanigans were there to flesh out the steam. I didn't feel their character development and the intimate scenes didn't seem to either pull them together or push them apart.

Not for me, but I'll read more from VH Nicolson, especially when there is more of the Scots!

Thank you VH Nicolson, Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the ARC. Opinions are my own.

Spicy from the beginning, but still with a story! It was nice to see some of the tables turned and the heat was undeniable!

Lincoln by VH Nicolson is the first book in The Billionaire Boys Series. This is Violet and Lincoln‘s story.

Lincoln is a very successful businessman and workaholic and he’s giving his best to be there for the family business. But he’s almost burned out and goes on a sabbatical and I really liked how this relaxed him and he viewed the world with a different outlook afterwards. He’s a man who knows what he wants and how to get it and I liked his confidence but sometimes it was a bit overwhelming.

Violet is taking over the family business and everyone underestimates her just because she’s a woman. But she’s a badass and shows it to everyone and I really liked her strong and sassy attitude. Violet is a gorgeous woman who isn’t afraid to embrace her happiness and I adored her.

Lincoln and Violet meet through their work and their first meeting was such a meet cute. The chemistry between these two is there from the first meeting and especially Lincoln is very attracted to Violet. It felt very much like instant attraction and lust and for the longest time it was missing an emotional component for me. That came only towards the end when they finally realized that they’re in love which was a bit sad because I would have loved to see some more sweet scenes between them because the spicy scenes definitely predominated the plot. Also, Lincoln is there in secret and that created a bit of drama that was very much unnecessary for me.

This story was a quick and fun read and if you’re looking for a steamy workplace romance, definitely check out this story. 3 stars.

(Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an arc.)

My cheeks hurt from smiling through this delightful book. This one kept me hooked and entertained until the last page… The characters each have these little pieces that make them such believable characters! This fabulous summer read is a gentle reminder love never gives up on anyone.

Lincoln Black’s home is back in Scotland, running a 5 star hotel with his dad. He loves his job but his dad wants to make sure he prioritising himself too hence encouraging him to have a sabbatical. He’s spent his time travelling and surfing his way around the USA, however his need to work has led him to take a temporary job in a gym in Santa Monica and now has 6 weeks before he flies home.
Working late one night, he greets who he believes in the new cleaner, he’s floored by her beauty and her figure but he can only look and admire as he’s not pursuing any flings whilst he’s away, working on himself and what he wants for his future is his priority.
The following day he meets the new project manager redesigning the gym, Violet West aka the cleaner!
Can he open himself up to a relationship with her, time’s not on his side but Violet proves herself worthy of trying.

I absolutely loved this book, Lincoln is a true sweetheart. The way that man encourages Violet to embrace her body and be proud just has me melting. Let’s just say it works and in his favour too as her confidence in the bedroom is off the charts and the spice is top notch 🌶️
Neither of their lives are perfect, Violets family is fractured and her sister is truly awful, thankfully she’s close to her dad and he gives her his time and wants the very best for her.
Lincoln has never met his mum, she left when he was a baby, leaving his dad to raise him and even though he’s tried not to let it affect his life its evident he does feel unwanted which bears an impact on his romantic relationships. Violet however is patient, loving and prepared to support him and show him what could be possible if only he trusts her.
There are some real lol moments, I can only imagine the doctor’s expression when a certain 🌶️ moment lands him in the Emergancy room!
When a family meal before he’s due to head home goes badly their relationship is at risk.
This book is just everything I could want, a solid believable plot, romance, spice, character development and a HEA. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Thank you NetGalley, VH Nicholson and Boldwood for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

A spicy new series!

Lincoln is in America trying to find himself before settling down into the family business. He is a strong lead, but vulnerable in his family life. He meets Violet the feisty female main lead and whoo talk about chemistry! It's a fast paced, fun romance with some serious moments and a couple unexpected twists!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

A short very steamy novel. I couldn’t really class as a romance as I struggled to get that from it as the dialogue and characters didn’t really work for me and I found it quite clunky and underdeveloped.. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me access to a new author to try.

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC! I was genuinely surprised at how much I ended up liking Violet and Lincoln's story. They are both such amazing leads and perfectly imperfect. I love how strong Violet is as a FMC and was helping Lincoln deal with his past trauma. Besides being a billionaire romance, this book was truly realistic and an amazing example of what great communication does in a healthy relationship.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

If you’re looking for a billionaire romance that delivers not just heat but also depth, Lincoln by V.H. Nicolson is the perfect pick. It’s an addictive, emotional, and spicy read with well-developed characters and a story that lingers long after you turn the last page.

The story follows a strong, successful woman who unexpectedly becomes the boss of the man she’s falling for—only he doesn’t realize it. Lincoln is determined to change his ways, leaving one-night stands behind him, but when he meets her, he’s forced to break his own rules. Their chemistry is undeniable, but what really makes this book stand out is the emotional journey beneath the surface.

What I loved most about Lincoln was the character development and emotional depth. Beyond the steamy moments, the book explores themes of abandonment, self-worth, and learning how to love when you’ve always expected people to leave. It’s raw, real, and beautifully written.

This book made me laugh, made me cry, and completely stole my heart. If you enjoy romances that combine passion with heartfelt storytelling, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up!

Tempted (ARC) by Maria Mesmer
"Now I'm wondering how I walked through life without this feeling. Without my stomach splashing like a magma chamber when Alex walks into a room. Without my heart ballooning until I fear it might burst when he presses his lips against mine. Suddenly I'm not so hard on myself for being a hopeless romantic the past few years. This is worth every bad date and picky left swipe. It all led me here. To Alex."
I can't believe this is Maria's debut!
I love a billionaire romance book, I couldn't put it down
Excited to read more from Maria
Thank You @netgalley for the ARC

This book is a must read! Violet is a powerhouse and force to be reckoned with when it comes to her job. She has never made time for anything except work, until Lincoln. The witty banter throughout the book will have you laughing and smiling, but the twists and turns will keep you from putting the book down. The spice is spot on and the pull between the characters is irresistible.

Lincoln by VH Nicolson was one of the best books I've read this year..I definitely need a Lincoln in my life and wish I was more like Violet. This book at it all, witty humor, nice plot and the spicy was just spicy enough without going over board. I really like how Nicolson made Lincoln the one with the problems and had Violet fight for him. I haven't read too many book where that happens, usually it's the other way around. Overall the book was just long enough to not get boring but long enough to feel like the story wrapped up. I will definitely be watching out for Jacob's book! Thanks #netgalley for allowing me to review this great book.

I absolutely loved reading this book. The way the male lead seems confident but his underlying insecurities are shown and he has to face them is something I really loved. The female lead is firstly and goes after what she wants and the male lead is absolutely supportive of her. Overall I loved this book and would definitely recommend it.

Hmm, this book was just okay. Lincoln, the hero, is a man-child. Body and sexual appetite of a man with emotional maturity of a child. Geez, dude, get over it. Yes, your mom left, but you have loving family, wealth, and looks. What's the problem???

This book was a major sex fest. Well, written sex fest, and that gets my 2 stars. One star for Violet to go after what she wants. But otherwise, it was quite meh.
