This was a fast and easy read that had a cute storyline but at the end of the day I just didn't feel the chemistry between the characters. I loved being back in Holly's world but this just wasn't the greatest installment.

Holly and Giles are best friends. Imagine Holly’s surprise when he gets engaged to Sienna.
This was a fast easy to read book. I found myself annoyed with the main characters most of the book.
If you like second chance romance, add this one to your list

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this E-ARC, in exchange for an honest review.
This latest installment in the Love is in the Air series is just as cozy and heartwarming as you’d hope! It’s a light, romantic read—perfect for when you want something sweet and uplifting.
Holly has been through a lot, but things are finally falling into place. Her daughter, Hope, is thriving, her home is exactly how she envisioned it, and an exciting opportunity could take her sweet shop, Just One More, to new heights. But just when life seems settled, her best friend, Giles, drops a surprise—he’s engaged to Sienna, a woman Holly barely knows (and isn’t sure is the right match for him). Determined to be supportive, she throws herself into wedding planning, but can’t shake the nagging feeling that something isn’t quite right. Is it just about Giles and Sienna, or is Holly ignoring her own heart?
While this book can technically be read on its own, you’ll get the most out of it if you’ve read the previous ones in the series. There are some predictable moments, but honestly, that’s part of the charm—it’s like settling into your favorite feel-good movie. If you love small-town romance, a touch of drama, and a happily ever after, this one’s worth picking up!

this series has been beautiful. i so dont want it to end. but i also really really need Holly to have a happy ending. i thought book one was brilliant and couldn't wait for each new book. by book 4 i was truly in love with the series. i never wanted them to end and it felt a true privilege to be able to have such a chance to get to know these set of characters and follow them all through so much. particularly of course we follow holly.
the series all feels so real. and because the characters arc and come together and are all around throughout the books we truly do get to know them.
this book focused on Hollys heart. i have to say ive loved getting to know Giles as he started and then how hes woven throughout the series.
i wont give it away. but this is a must read for both new to the series and those, like me, love the series and feel like coming home every time a new one comes out.
i would only wish now that Holly hires me and the village adopts me as one of there own. if Hannah Lyn can do that for me then i willy forever be grateful. thanks!

Perhaps not constantly eating enough sweets and drinking wine to put someone in a diabetic coma in every book, and then laying awake every night.
It was a little predictable but readable I think this series has exhausted itself now.

This book felt like the natural end to the series. It was sweet and again good to catch up on Holly and Hopes lives. The scenery was beautiful and again a joy to read. Thankyou netgalley for this arc in exchange of an honest review.

Holly Berry is finally feeling happy and settled. Her daughter is happy, Holly’s sweetshop is doing well and she is surrounded by good friends.
Then, when her close friend Giles suddenly proposes to his girlfriend Sienna, Holly is totally blindsided. She doesn’t feel Sienna is right for Giles, and the more she gets to know Sienna, the more convinced she is.
As the plans for the wedding gather pace, Holly finds herself questioning if her life really is as sorted as she thought it was, or is something, or someone missing.
This is a lovely book and a great ending to the series.

What a romance. The delusional friends to lovers trope is one of my favorites in the world. You can feel the tension, but they still have no clue. Yes these characters make some stupid decision, but omg do they make up for it. I recommend!
Thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Happy Ever After at the Second Chances Sweet Shop= a perfect cute and feel good read!!
If you’ve been following the Holly Berry Sweet Shop Series, this is a must read!
You have your small town vibes romance. Holly has amazing friends and a close relationship with all of them. As close as some of them knowing who you are destined to be with after losing the love of your life after such a tragic death. If you don’t know, please read the books prior to comprehend. But honestly, you can read this as a stand alone to get most of it.
Some predictable moments, but honestly that’s what makes it a feel good and quick read at the same time as completing your Holly Berry sweet shop fix!
Overall good spring/summer read and will be smiling in the end. Happy reading!!
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for providing this AMAZING ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own, and I do not accept money for any reviews.

I enjoyed being back in Holly’s world and catching up with everyone. A lovely easy read to fully escape into.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review.

In this the latest (last?) book in the series Holly finds out that her best friend Giles has become engaged to Sienna, who she hasn't met before. Talking an instant dislike to her this causes friction between Holy and Giles and makes her reconsider her relationship to him.
You should really read the previous books in the series to fully understand the various characters in this book, although it can be read as a standalone. The story is one where you rely wasn't to bang the two main character's heads together as they cannot admit their feelings for each other. I couldn't take to Sienna either, she did come across as a the type that I can't relate to, but then Holly and Giles both have their problems as well. At least they have a close circle of friends to support them both. A series that I have enjoyed and hope that something similar comes along soon.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Idk if it’s me but I felt lost reading this !! Idk the chemistry between these characters wasn’t the best ! I had to force my self through this book . Thank you net galley

I have loved being back with these characters. Another gorgeous easy read in the Second Chance Sweet Shop series and I was here for it all.
The book ended exactly how I hoped it would and I really hope there is one more instalment to come.
An easy 5 ⭐️ read.

Will Holly get her Happy Ending after all?
I couldn’t wait to begin the 8th instalment of Holly’s story and what a beautiful story it is. I found it heartwarming and loved the added extra of the cat, Rhubarb to the storyline.
I couldn’t believe Giles & Sienna’s story, I felt poor Holly got a rough deal - she couldn’t see what everyone else could until it was too late. Will an unexpected challenge change her future?
A very charming storyline perfect to cosy up with, Hannah Lynn has written another captivating story full of sugary sweetness and love.
I wonder if there will be a next book full of love? Only time will tell
Thank you Boldwoodbooks, Hannah Lynn & NetGalley

I wanted to like this book, but truthfully both of the main characters were just incredibly annoying. I didn't feel any real chemistry between them, and both of them treated each other so poorly. There was also a lot of missing backstory re the FMC's late husband, and her relationship with the father of her child (who is neither her dead husband nor the man she ends up with). The kitten, Rhubarb, was the only part of the book that I really liked.
Many thanks to Hannah Lynn, Boldwood Books, & Netgalley for providing me with an ARC.

I enjoyed Happy Ever After at the Second Chances Sweet Shop. It was nice to catch up with Holly, a few years after the last book and was a nice ending for the series.

It is nice dropping in and visiting Holly once again. She has her sweet shop. Just One More, doing good, her daughter is happy, and she has some wonderful friends, along with best friend Giles. Giles has been dating a woman named Sienna, and out of the blue, he asks her to marry him. It got real interesting after that. Sometimes, I thought, love is blind, but really? There was some stumbling going on, there were awkward moments, some stubbornness, and Hannah Lynn does know how to write as their journey unfolds. That is what I feel when I read the first book, and again with this one. She is sitting there with them, and she writes, as things unfold so naturally.
I received an ARC from Boldwood Books through NetGalley. I hope Hannah Lynn continues this series, there is so much more of their life to unfold.

After the heart breaking events of the previous book Holly needs to find a way to move on with her life. Five years on, just as she starts to find her new normal her best friend Giles gets engaged to a woman that Holly feels isn't right for him.
One thing I have loved about the Second chance sweet shop series is our FMC Holly. She is flawed, has made questionable choices, suffered heartbreak and taken leaps of faith. There have been times when I have wanted to reach into the pages and hug her, and times when I've wanted to give her a good shake. All of this has made her incredible human and I have loved it.
I had a feeling i knew how Hollys story was going to end and i will honestly say i had my doubts. However loved how her journey ends.
A wonderfully cosy end to a wonderfully cosy series.

What a lovely book. I really enjoyed this one. It reminded me of all my favourite types of books, hopeful, funny, and with a splash of happy ever after. One to recommend for reading by the pool or on the beach. Don’t hesitate, get out there and read it!

This was one of those books I couldn’t stop thinking about when I wasn’t reading. Was desperate to get back to it! A lot about this one really spoke to me. It’s rare I love a contemporary book like this so much, but definitely a hit for me!
