I binge read Enchantra in one day and ITS SO GOOD. The vibes are so different than Phantasma and it fits the characters perfectly. Honestly deserves infinity stars.

I didn’t think anyone could top Blackwell and then in stepped Rowin. The tattoos, the piercings, and his rude mouth?! All yes. The animosity between him and Genevieve in the beginning was so hilarious and the chemistry was ON FIRE. Throwing in the forced marriage trope was truly a work of art🤌🏻 Then watching them fall in love, especially mean Rowin, had me absolutely melting.

I’m hoping so bad a future book involves another Silver sibling because I NEED more of that family! The dynamic between them is so interesting and I’d love to get to know how their relationships have changed since the ending of Enchantra.

Now I’m crying because I want book 3 now but this one hasn’t even released yet🥲

Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy to review!

Enchantra is the second book in a Dark Fantasy Romance series with deadly games being played in a gothic manor and after loving Phantasma I was really excited for Genevieve’s book and OMG it was even better than I expected, I loved this book so much!

After being invited to Italy by her late mother’s friend, Genevieve definitely doesn’t expect to get trapped in a deadly hide and seek game with her host’s cursed family. To increase her chances of survival she agrees to a marriage of convenience with handsome but exasperating Rowin, but with each game getting more deadly, she can’t help but feel like she’s losing her mind and can’t ignore her growing feelings for her new husband.

Enchantra had me completely immersed in this fascinating story since page 1 and I literally couldn’t stop reading. I loved Phantasma and while this book had some similarities, it was a completely different story that I loved as much as the first book and all the games, complicated family relationships, plot twists and secrets kept me on the edge of my seat. I really liked Genevieve in the first book but she truly shined in this one, she was really strong and despite being thrown in a deadly game, she quickly learned how to play it and wanted to help her husband and his family. Rowin was a mysterious shadow daddy that I immediately came to love and was a perfect partner for Genevieve, there were so many ‘my wife’ and ‘she’s mine’ scenes that I absolutely loved and despite their marriage being one of convenience I could’t help but feel they were perfect for each other, I loved them together so much. I also really liked Rowin’s siblings, they were all written so well and in an interesting way, I loved their family dynamics and I would love for some of them to get their own books because I just know their stories would be amazing.

Enchantra is an incredible dark fantasy romance book, I loved every second I spent reading it and didn’t want it to end. If you liked Phantasma, I’m sure you’re going to love Enchantra too, and if you haven’t started this series yet, trust me, you definitely should, it’s absolutely amazing!

My emotions are everywhere right now as I literally just finished reading this amazing & beautifully written book. Truly, I didn’t think I could love another book as much as I loved Phantasma by Kaylie, but here I sit (actually I’m laying down) still recovering from that ROLLER COASTER of a book knowing that, without a doubt, I loved Enchantra more than Phantasma (trust me - it is THAT good).

Enchantra was the type of book that I hated to finish because I just didn’t want the story to end. I mean Rowin?! Really, why is he so perfect? I’m convinced I fell in love with his humor first and his other “qualities” second. Yeah right, I went feral over that lip ring. Secondly, why is the number seven now my favorite number? Ok I’m done. I loved it.

Kaylie, if you’re reading this, thank you for not doing the thing you talked about possibly doing in your acknowledgments. My heart wouldn’t have been able to take it.

Thank you to #netgalley & #secondskybooks & #readforeverpub for an advanced e-copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Genevieve fells like something is missing. Like she is always left behind and second choice. She needs answers, and after some reserch she learns about someone who can give her some answers she so desperatly needs.
She finds herself in another house of deadly games and now forced to share them with someone who she despises at first glance.
When Genevieve entered Enchantra, she unexpectedly met her match. She is a sassy and feisty woman who can stand for herself, and usually that makes her win. When she meets Rowin, on the other hand... he gives back as much as she does and their banter and fighting is well suited for both.
Genevieve had a habbit of finding and getting herself in trouble. So the nickname he chose for her was actually perfect and suited for her. Loved that detail.
Rowin is trapped in Enchantra and is desperatly trying to get him and his family out. When Genevieve enters the mansion she was not the help he was expecting to get but maybe he could use her for his advantage. But there's a very thin line between love and hate right? So thin that with every moment together it starts to blur. But is love enough? Can trust really be earned in between so many secrets and games?

"I don’t know who told you that you weren’t good enough, but they were fucking wrong. You’re more than good enough. Your heart is more than good enough. No matter how many times it has been burned. How many scars it might have . It will keep on beating, brave and passionate, if you will only let it.”

“I want you to know, I really would have waited for you, right here, forever if that’s what it would have taken. I would have stood in this spot until I could no longer distinguish my own soul from the shadows. Until your light came back to me.”

I really missed this thrill. The unknown, the uncertainty of what comes next and the danger that brings our main characters together despite hating one another. Those little moments where we see them change their perspective and start turning hate to care and concern and to blinding love. We have all that in this amazing well built world and story. The author provides such detailed perceptions that we can almost feel like we're there, watching all these scenes unfold.
I laughed at their interaction and banter, bacause..come on! Genevieve and her mouth... her words may be one of her gratest weapons. And I gasped an held my breath at several moments of greater danger and suspense, and I really didn't see that turn of events and was like "WTH?" until those twists were explained and solved.
I really, really loved this book. I read it non-stop since I got it and I wanted to continue in this story for a lot longer.
