Exquisitely Thrilling!
Genevieve is on the hunt for the man she thinks might be her real father.
After receiving an invitation to visit Enchantra, Genevieve is stalked by a murder of crows who guide her on her way to mysterious mansion where the games begin for her this time.
You can expect murder and mayhem in this absolutely fantastic sequel to Phantasma with all the delicious spice and bloody knives.
If you love survival games with intrigue and a dash of voyeurism then this should be your next read.

A huge thank you to Netgalley and Second Sky/Forever for a copy of this e-ARC in exchange for this honest review.

From the dark and glittering world of Phantasma, comes Enchantra, where each year one family of immortals must play a deadly game to see which one of them will have their freedom for the next year.

Just a few months after the death of her mother and surviving the dangerous game that was Phantasma, Genevieve Grimm travels to Italy to finally get some answers about her family from an old friend of her mother’s. Instead of finding answers, Genevieve finds herself trapped in another deadly game, where her only hope of survival is to team up with the very rude and handsome, Rowin Silver.

I found this to be a solid sequel to Phantasma, along with being a great standalone. I found the Silver family as a whole interesting, and I wouldn’t mind diving deeper into that insane family dynamic (maybe in another novel?)

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review!

From the moment I began reading Enchantra, I was completely captivated. I loved Phantasma and being back in this world was INCREDIBLE. This spicy, enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance had everything I was hoping for and more—drama, magic, tension, and a twist of danger that kept me on the edge of my seat. And it takes the meaning of shadow daddy to a whole new level. I had no idea this was a marriage of convenience trop and BOY DID IT HIT!!!!!! MY WIFE???? HELLO??

Genevieve Grimm is an incredibly relatable protagonist. She’s a young woman lost in the shadows of her family, desperate for something more than the life she’s been handed. When she’s invited to an Italian palace by a mysterious friend of her mother’s, she expects luxury and passion, but what she gets is a deadly game, with high stakes and life-or-death consequences.

Enter Rowin Silver—tall, dark, and frustratingly arrogant. From the moment they meet, I was hooked. Rowin is a complex character, and while he might seem cold and distant at first, you can feel there’s so much more to him than meets the eye. The dynamic between him and Genevieve is electrifying. Their initial animosity is palpable, but as the stakes get higher in the deadly game, their partnership—and growing attraction—becomes undeniable.

And let me tell you, the ending had me in a chokehold. I couldn’t believe how the story wrapped up—it was such a gorgeous, gut-wrenching, and perfect way to end their journey. I gasped so loud I woke up my cat! I won't spoil it, but the final twists took everything to a whole new level, leaving me breathless and completely satisfied.

Enchantra is a rollercoaster of emotions, tension, and passion that I couldn’t put down. The way Kaylie Smith weaves magic, mystery, and romance into this story is truly incredible. If you're a fan of enemies-to-lovers, marriage of convenience, dark(er) fantasy, and a plot that keeps you guessing until the very end, you NEED to read this book. It’s a masterpiece!

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Huge thank you to Netgalley, SecondSky and the author, Kaylie Smith for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Honestly, this book is even more delightful than I dreamed and hoped it would be!! Let me tell you it YANKED me out of a reading slump.

Genevieve Grimm was the most likable MC that I’ve read in ages and don’t get me STARTED on all of our newest shadow daddy obsession! Rowington Silver the man that you are 🥵

I feel over the moon that I was gifted this early and am so excited for you all to read it. Somehow I liked Enchantra even better than Phantasma… but it might just be Rowin’s tattoos that do it for me 😅

So so stoked for you all to read this! If you loved book one, you’re in for such a treat! Enchantra comes out April 8th!! Just enough time to read book one, if you haven’t yet 😉

GIRL! HOW CAN SHE DO IT BETTER???

Great romantasy. Dislike to lovers. A lot of chemistry between the leads. And funny (and hot) supporting characters. I like that they all have great individual personalities even though it follows a family!

Kaylie Smith you are officially an insta-buy author for me. Both this and Phantasma were so fun! Dark and spooky, gothic atmosphere, I am obsessed!

Between the banter, tension, angst, and side characters that had me cackling… I seriously couldn’t get enough of it. This book had me up till 3 am and not wanting to put it down. I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE OF YOU TO READ THIS BECAUSE I NEED MORE PEOPLE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a little obsessed with it.

3.5 stars. Phantasma was my favorite read last year, so when I got the opportunity to read Enchantra early, I was elated! Kaylie Smith writes found family and funny characters with such ease; it’s always a treat to read. Sevin was my absolute favorite overall, I need an entire book about him and his adventures! The entire Silver family was the highlight for me, every time we learned more about each sibling was so captivating.

That being said, I do have some opinions. Enchantra draws similarities to Phantasma by its games; however, I wish we had a little more variety in the games played. Rowin is a typical Shadow Daddy, and if that speaks to you then you won’t be disappointed! I’m also realizing that the trope of “marriage of convenience” might not be for me. Where Phantasma had me in a chokehold by the third chapter, Enchantra didn’t really grip me until the last third of the book. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it! I just didn’t feel that pull to keep reading until 1am (that’s late for me, I’m tired).
Overall, I enjoyed this story and look forward to seeing where Smith takes us next!

I’ve read this book in ebook & audiobook version. This is the second installment, after Phantasma, which in this book is about the sister, Genevieve.

Basically we still get the game and adventure, including paranormal beings tropes as the main in the plot. There are also humorous banter, marriage of convenience, from hate to love, morally grey, touch her and die, strong fmc,family matters and more, which manage to make the plot interesting and enjoyable.

Overall, I did enjoyed reading and listening to this book. The game in this feels less intense than in the first one to be honest, yet still got good characters all around and nicely match environment as well. The plot also went well with a good pace.

The audiobook version doesn’t disappoint at all, narrated by the same narrator as the first book. I loves it when she narrated it since she always managed to bring the book to life - from the characters to it’s ambience and story as well, truly captivating and made me glued to my headphones to listen. I totally recommend listening to the audiobook version.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in both ebook & audiobook version for an exchange with my honest review here.

I was soo excited to receive this email for the book! This has been one of my most anticipated books of the year and I’m sooo thankful that I was given the chance to read it early!! This book was much different than the first one, and I did enjoy the change. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the vibes I got from the book was along the lines of Ready or Not. The romance was as always hitting how it needed to and for the plot I think the ratio of spicy scenes to the Marriage of Convience was just right. I mean these two didn’t know each other and were not super close at the beginning of the book.

I loved this book and I love this series as a whole. I can’t wait to see more from Kaylie Smith in the future!!

An absolute treat of a book, it fed in all the right ways. The pacing, the character development, the spice it was all just perfect

So much fun! I liked this book even more than the first one in the series, Phantasma. Very much enjoyed the family dynamics and the haters to lovers trope here. The magic and world building is thorough without being overwrought, and I honestly devoured it in a couple of days.

Kaylie Smith has done it again! I loved Genevieve & Rowin just as much as Ophelia & Blackwell. You do not have to read Phantasma to enjoy Enchantra, but I would recommend it for the backstory. The games of this book were interesting (I think there are six rounds), and the fact it is like a reality show broadcast through mirrors to the creatures of hell was added even more depth.

I was fascinated by the Silver family and the personalities of all the siblings. I am hoping another Silver is back as the main character of the next book in the series. Genevieve is a spitfire and not afraid to stand up to anyone, even a devil. Her banter and chemistry with Rowin is unmatched, and the spice is high heat (piercings, anyone?). There is a twist at the end that kept me on the edge of my seat until the final pages. While the romance is resolved, the plot to save the Silver’s mother & potential drama with Blackwell leave me with many questions to wait for answering in book three!

“𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭. 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱.”

Argh take me back to Enchantra! I absolutely loved Phantasma, Blackwell and Ophelia were pure angsty magic. But Genevieve and Rowan?! 100/10, all the stars 🤩

Enchantra was filled with amazing (sometimes ruthless) characters, I’m pretty sure I loved every one. The Silver Family absolutely satisfied my found family love whilst providing the tension needed for the games and driving the twists and turns through the story. I actually can’t pick a favourite sibling to be honest. And the familiars? Love love love even if they’d likely hunt me down 😂

Genevieve was an amazing character, filled with trauma and insecurities and incredibly relatable. Choosing to be the centre of her own story really made her come into her own and fight for herself, which I love.

Rowin, Rowin, Rowin, how did you steal my heart and skyrocket above Blackwell?? Probably started with this quote “The light isn’t something you need to chase, Genevieve. The light is wherever you are” The turmoil he went through, the boundaries he’d set for himself being smashed to pieces, ah I loved it all.

I could not recommend this series enough!
Thank you to Forever and Second Sky for sending me an eARC, it was the best surprise.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. I stayed up entirely too late a few nights to read this and I didn’t regret it for a second! I adored the banter and twists, Genevieve and Rowin!! Kaylie Smith is amazing at atmosphere, tension, humor, spice, and just all of it!

The games in Enchantra were all unique and interesting and made me want to reread Phantasma all over again. The Silver family might be my favorite dysfunctional, sassy family. I love and need more!!

I will continue to recommend the Wicked Games series every chance I get!

A fantastic (or should it be Phantastic?) sequel! I was a bit nervous for this one, since in Phantasma I found Genevieve to be a bit selfish and flighty - but getting to be in her perspective got me on her side right away. The last couple chapters set up a clear doorway for more installments in this series that I am desperately hoping for! But who will be the MC? One of the other Silver siblings (my guesses would be Grave, Sevin, or Ellie)? Luci? Perhaps Jasper? Lots of options out there, Either way, I hope it's coming soon!

Enchantra

Enchantra leaves Phantasma’s turn of the century run down Victorian mansion in New Orleans for a remote Italian manor house deep in the country. And it’s Genevieve Grimm’s turn to play a devil’s game. Like her sister Ophelia though, she has tricks up her sleeve and cards to play. Enter Rowin, her grudging partner and mysterious shadow wielding son of the manor’s owner. They must work together for a chance at freedom, even if it’s at the cost of the rest of Rowin’s family. Another magical tale by Kaylie Smith. If Phantasma reminds me of Phantom of the Opera in a bunch of ways, I’d say Enchantra reminds me of Labyrinth. Words can be twisty, and you can never be entirely certain about what’s actually going on, but it’s beautifully romantic all the same. If you enjoyed Phantasma, absolutely read Enchantra, but if you haven’t read it, start there then come here.

Give it a read for:

* Deadly games
* Shadow daddies
* Demons, Devils, & Wraiths
* Animal familiars
* Marriage of convenience
* Family dysfunction…in spades

I will say that there was one plot point introduced that we never get an answer to. It doesn’t impact the progression of the plot, but I do think it was a missed opportunity to give more dimension to a character.

Also a thru line from Phantasma that is touched upon but barely expanded upon that leaves some book one questions still unanswered.

Hoping both of these things come back in book three, but for now, we wait.

Overall, a magical game with astronomical stakes, not for the whole world, but absolutely for our characters. Alice goes down the rabbit hole and lands smack dab in the middle of The Fall of the House of Usher. Be careful of the bargains you strike, and know your enemy.

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for giving me an early copy of this book to read and review. All thoughts are my own.

Kaylie could write down her grocery list and I would pay big bucks to read it.

I thought I was obsessed with Phantasma and Blackwell but NO!! Rowin has me in the kinky chokehold possible. Dare I say this is my favorite read so far in 2025.

The plot was fun and very different from book one. I am inlove with all of the characters. I seriously need a book on each Silver sibling because they are incredible. The spicy was SPICY and I just wanted more.

I 1,000,000 percent recommend this book and also volunteer as tribute to be an early reader for book 3.

5 devilish stars!!!

Kalylie Smith has cast her spell on me the second time around! She wowed me with Phantasma and I continued to be enchanted, enamored, and dazzled by Enchantra! It is gripping, sexy, dark, dangerous, magical, and deadly. I was once again swept away and into the wonderful gothic world that Kaylie Smith has created. I enjoyed her cast of characters, the atmosphere, the setting (mainly in Italy), the danger, and the scent of romance in the air!

Enchantra focuses on Genevieve Grimm who intercepts an invitation meant for her mother and travels to Italy in hopes of attending a gala at a beautiful palace. But this is not Cinderella's story, it's Genevieve's story and it is far from a fairy tale!

She is met by Rowin Silver, a tall, dark, and handsome man who is incredibly rude and warns her to stay away. But she is determined, headstrong, and curious and enters the grand home. Apparently, no one warned Genevieve what curiosity did to the cat! What she finds is a dark family that is caught in a deadly and twisted game. She must play or be trapped there. She and Rowin come up with a plan and an allegiance. Genevieve will soon wonder if their wicked games will be enough to win?

Holy Moly! Fans of Phantasma will love Enchantra as well! As I mentioned it has the same dark, deadly, wicked, twisted, and sexy vibe flowing throughout the book. I was never a big fantasy book reader but there are certain authors who have cast their magical spells on me and Kaylie Smith is one of them!

I enjoyed the banter, the chemistry, the world building, the twists, the tension, the dread, the danger, and the vivid descriptions in this book. I also enjoyed the magical aspect and Genevieve's spunk and courage. Plus, this book ends in a way that in my opinion left room for another book in the series. **wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Fans of fantasy, dark romance, enemies to lovers romance books will fall head over heels for this one. I know I did.

I was lucky enough to have both the kindle and audiobook version of Enchantra!!! Laura Horowitz narrated this book (she narrated Phantasma as well) and did a fabulous job of bringing the characters to life!!

Wonderfully written, dark, sexy, and left me wanting more!!!!

Oh my gosh. Kaylie Smith has done it again! The Wicked Games series is becoming one of my new favorites. I had no idea how she would spin this after the success Phantasma is. Especially with the games aspect. However, Enchantra was everything and more! Vivi went off on her own vacation to Rome, but quickly found herself outside of Enchantra’s gates when crows would not stop croaking at her to go to the estate. Vivi quickly meets Rowin Silver who is mysteriously handsome AND with a lip ring 🤭 Once inside Enchantra, Vivi realizes she can’t leave because of a curse placed on the estate which states any person who steps foot into the home becomes part of The Hunt, a game where you literally get hunted to the death. I loved all of Rowin’s siblings and also how the door is still open for each of their own stories. I wonder who’s next? Maybe Sevin? I can’t wait to find out!

-found family
-marriage of convenience
-paranormal beings
-deadly games

Thank you to netgalley and forever publishing for an e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion!
