This is my first book by Nina Wynter, and I really enjoyed her style of writing. Her characters felt rich and developed and I enjoyed watching their motivations unfold as the novel progressed. I was curious about Alex and Holly's past and loved reading the flashbacks to their teenage years.
I really wish the ending had been longer as I felt it ended on a rushed note. I also found that the constant "I can't do this" moments felt too angsty for two characters in their late twenties, and this was quite frustrating.
