Leo's a hot-headed hockey player benched for his temper. Victoria is a pairs figure skater with no partner after hers is injured. Her dad, the hockey coach, decides putting Leo with Victoria as her practice partner is the perfect solution and fitting punishment for him. A hockey player forced into figure skating will get him laughed right out of the locker room! But it's even worse...Victoria is the one he never got over after they dated in college and she broke up with him over a text message!
This romcom has all the fun banter and second chance emotions without the spice. I love how even after all their time apart Victoria counts it as a win every time she can get grumpy Leo to smile. And even though he still resents her for the way they broke up, Leo can't help but be super sweet to her. I liked this clean second chance grumpy/sunshine hockey romance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was definitely better then the first one. I enjoy a second chance romance, especially when it’s not because people weren’t compatible. It was a bit cheesy - a hockey player getting told he has to help a figure skater as his probation? Not a likely scenario. However, all the little pieces that made it all come together made it more believable. It was also pretty sweet to find out all the little factors of it. I appreciated that the side characters weren’t as aggressively pushing boundaries with each other like in the first book, but they still were a little too involved and not in a good way. They weren’t being as supportive and helpful as I would have enjoyed. Overall, it was a cute story.

Leo and Victoria are forced to work together due to different reasons, he is on probation with his hockey coach - who is her father - and she needs him for her final season in figure skating after her partner got injured. After already being a couple in college the two of them have a lot of banter but also know each other well. Loved the whole storyline and the characters, not just Leo and Victoria, were well written. The whole team, but also Victoria’s adorable neighbor with a cussing parrot were amazing and i instantly fell in love with them. I personally did not enjoy the cover, but thats about the only issue I had with the book, other than that it was such a cute read.
I also feel like, from the hockey romances I have read, there should be a hockey jersey rule similar to the cowboy hat rule.
In conclusion, such a cute book with an adorable couple that made me want to be in love and be loved by someone. Victoria and Leo are a power couple and I really hope the other team members will get their happily ever after as well!
4,5 / 5 stars (due to the cover only :))

Sports romance reads are all the rage this year. Perfectly faked by Grace Worthington was a closed door romance that romance readers will enjoy.

As someone who started out with the romcon starting point this book was one I read about and was like yes! Then I got to actually read it and it was definitely one I’ll remember for a bit, I love the characters and the found family they have throughout the book. I love how it dual POV and so you get to see how everything develops as each person experiences it. I love how much the plot gave notice to things that the reader could relate to personally. I adore the main couple and definitely need more from the roommates.

Closed door romances are my favorite thing! And make it a sports romance! It can’t get much better than that. The chemistry was off the charts

Leo's been suspended and his coach wants him to earn his way back on to the team by completing an assisgnment. The only problem is his 'assignment' is Victoria; the coach's daughter and his ex.

My 'The Cutting Edge' loving heart is full right now! Perfectly Faked is the perfect combination of so many delicious tropes. I ate it up for the vibes alone! It was on the shorter side, and sweet instead of spicy. It definitely deserves a spot on your TBR if you never got over 'The Cutting Edge.'

This book is an absolute delight! I'm a sucker for a Hockey Romance book. I could not put this book down I completed it in less than 5 hours and was so devastated when it ended.
The story of Leo, an angry hockey player, and Victoria, a sweet figure skater, who have a complicated history. Their paths collide when they enter into a fake relationship that serves both their interests.
The dynamic between Leo and Victoria is electric, as their initial animosity transforms into a deeper connection. The blend of enemies-to-lovers, the quirks of a fake relationship, and the backdrop of hockey creates an engaging and entertaining narrative.
The author does a fantastic job of developing their characters, making them relatable and endearing. The story is filled with funny and heartwarming moments that keep you hooked until the last page.

Raise your hand if you've seen The Cutting Edge more than three times, if not more. It's one of my favorite movies, and Grace Worthington gave it an incredible twist, but she also included the best parts of the plot, including the closed door where chemistry lets you see what else there might be without giving you any details.
The characters in this book are the craziest found family I've ever read, and while there's always a found family when there's a team of athletes, this one fell so short of all my expectations.
This book pulled me out of a reading slump. Each page left me hooked on the next twist, and I never guessed what was coming next.
This is my second or third book by Grace Worthington, and she’s really winning me over with her writing style. So many fun and beautiful scenes and characters that stay with you after coming to the end.
.
Thanks to Grace Worthington and her team for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion.

What to expect: hockey, sports romance, fake relationship, enemies to lovers, second chance romance, coach's daughter.
The banter and chemistry of Leo and Victoria was excellent! This book was witty, had tension, swoony romance moments, humor, and so much more! This book was pleasantly clean as well. Leo helping Victoria for his community service set up for a classic sports romance. Plot was well developed, characters are well developed, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride!
If you like sports romance, this is a great one to check out. I am sold on this series and Grace Worthington.
Happy Reading!

Cute hockey story, loved the book great story great characters. First book by this author will 100% recommend and be reading more by her.

“You can kiss any girl you want.”
“Any girl?”
“Yes, any girl.”
“If that’s true, then stand up.”
The enemies to lovers. The fake dating trope. The sports romance. The second chance romance. So many tropes and SO much to love! Worthington is such a talented author with an amazing way of making you feel like you’re there with the characters.
I loved this book. Free of smut for any smut free book lovers. This was the perfect cosy sports romance. I quickly became obsessed with Victoria and Leo’s relationship. What a dream team. With twists and turns and moments of screaming at my screen.
What a book. ❤️

I love hockey romances. I know that there are a lot of them out there but Perfectly Faked is a cute one. Closed door, second chance romance.
Leo and Victoria were a great combo. Lots of chemistry and snap. There are so many fun characters in the book.
Thank you to Poets&Saints Publishing and NetGalley for the e-ARC. This review is my own opinion.

A fun second chance romance, the hockey player and the figure skater. When she split up with him it was to protect him, not that he knows that. Will things be different this time round? I liked hot it is told from both points of view.

Title: Perfectly Faked

Series: Perfect Crush Hockey romance 2
Genre: Rom Com
Rating: 4 stars
Publisher:
Not going to lie I started the book out liking Leo more than Victoria and I think that’s because I “met” Leo in Perfectly Wedded but Victoria quickly grew on me. I loved watching Leo and Victoria go from not quite enemies to more while being forced to skate together. I’ve never read a hockey rom com that also included a figure skater. But the fact that they are in opposing ice sports adds to the banter between these two. And keeps the reader turning pages.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

The latest installment in the Crushers hockey romance series, Perfectly Faked tells Leo and Victoria’s story and the redemption arc energy is strong. I enjoyed the way these characters supported each other despite their personal fumbles and missteps, but the pacing felt off at times, and I almost got whiplash from the number of misunderstandings and wrenches thrown their way. If you’re looking for second chance romance with a slow burn and a side of hockey and figure skating, Perfectly Faked is the one for you!
Thank you to Poets & Saints Publishing for gifting me with an ARC to review! All opinions are my own.

Absolutely devoured this beautiful work of art… I loved the storyline, it had alll the feels that kept me hooked, right to the end of the bonus scene!
The characters were well written and had me routing for Leo and Victoria right from the get go… the rest of the characters were an added bonus and really brought the story together.
Absolutely loved the banter and ‘Text Bubbles’ - oh how I love a text bubble chat.
Would definitely recommend as a nice easy quick read with all the feels!

Whitney’s Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this story and the characters—I read this in 24 hour period and could not put it down. Ultimately I think for me the pacing is really off and I had to suspend my disbelief a little too much for some of the actions of the characters. It was jarring to have them make a deal to not touch or flirt and a page later be almost making out. There just wasn’t enough description of their thought process for the pacing to work for me. Thank you NetGalley for the e-ARC. I really enjoyed it and struggled with what to rate it and ultimately went with a 3.5.

A HUGE thank you to @netgalley and Poets and Saints Publishing for this gifted digital copy. All opinions are my own 🩵

💭 My Thoughts
I had a fun time with this one! I really liked our FMC, Victoria, and getting to watch her growth. While it took me a little bit to warm up to Leo, in the end I absolutely loved him. He is the kind of supportive person everyone needs in their life. As a Florida girl, I appreciated all of the Tampa Bay Lightning references. There were a few parts that I wish were a bit more fleshed out, just because I’m either super curious or it had a lot of potential, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the story. I do have to say, I wasn’t expecting to like Victoria’s Dad so much. Justice for him, he deserves better (iykyk). I swooned throughout the entire book (I legitimately sat there kicking my feet like a little girl in excitement while giggling). ESPECIALLY the ending!! It’s also worth reading the bonus epilogue, it truly was a gift from the author. I would recommend this book to fans of Hockey romance.

Another installment so to speak to the incredible Crushers team and their significant others.
Vic and Leo - man. These two you can feel the chemistry right on the page. The way that Grace brings these characters to life makes you feel like you are either watching reality TV or chatting with them.
✔️Dual POV
✔️Hockey/Skating Romance
✔️Disapproving parents
✔️Second chances romance
✔️Grumpy/sunshine
✔️Fake dating
✔️Forced proximity
✔️Never got over each other after the breakup
This book checks all those boxes and more. Fun diverse group of characters, cannot forget the parrot either, seriously cracked me up.
If you are looking for your next (clean) sports romance this entire series is where to start.
