This was a very good book. The Also brothers have such an interesting life since the magic appeared. The brothers are all so different and have their own issues to deal with. The three books were very entertaining and kept you wondering what they would have to deal with next. If you enjoy magic, and mystery, and action filled events this book is definitely for you.

I thought the pace for the first book Shadows of Darkness was a little rushed and I will say that Zeth did not endure himself me as a character but he will develop more as the series moves on.  The other brothers Malak and Issac are more rounded in personality.  The magic could be very interesting if we got a bit more back story and history of its use.  The 3 brothers were granted access to all their power almost right away.  
  The second book Bullets of Blood was much more enjoyable and action filled.  The pace was still quick but it flowed better and the challenges for the 3 brothers were both high stakes and high rewards.
The third book Coven was my favorite we got into the history and teaching of magic and the brothers were tasked to find a Coven who are using forbidden magic. 
Over all this was a pretty fun read.
