Usually sets of short romance books are not written well and not that entertaining but this was surprisingly good. I would recommend this one!

This is a great collection. It has different authors, but they all have very sexy male leads. You have the pro footballer who comes home to find he has a son or a Seal with daughters; you have lots of hot navy seals who are there to fight and protect the ones that they love and fight for the future of the couple that they desire and the babies that go with it. There are some cliches in here, but it so does matter. The books are all fun and lighthearted, and there is some heat to keep me hooked!

This collection of romance novels primarily revolves around the second-chance trope, featuring strong chemistry, emotional tension, and heartfelt resolutions.
In First Down, Mark and Tessa reconnect after years apart, navigating their new family dynamic with surprisingly little angst despite the high stakes of fame and celebrity. Protecting Mandy blends military romance with psychological thriller elements, following Chance and Mandy’s passionate, emotionally charged reunion. Rancher’s Pregnant Wife delivers an emotional rollercoaster as Silas and Bea struggle to overcome deeply ingrained habits and past misunderstandings to finally embrace their love.
Protecting His Pregnant Lover follows Levon and Olivia, whose rekindled relationship is nearly derailed by self-doubt, though the investigative subplot keeps things engaging. Snowed in with the Rancher has a heartwarming “It’s a Wonderful Life” vibe as Tate faces the challenge of reconnecting with his surprise family. The Rancher’s Second Chance sees Sam and Cole battling their own self-sabotage before finally earning their well-deserved happy ending.
Other titles, such as Coming to Her Rescue, The Protective SEAL, and Wild Love, continue the theme of second chances, with Wild Love featuring a compelling contrast between an alpha rancher and a geeky heroine. While Jake’s dedication to family is endearing, Zoe’s characterization feels inconsistent at times.
Overall, this selection of romances offers emotionally satisfying journeys with passionate reunions, deep character growth, and well-earned happily-ever-afters. Fans of second-chance love stories will find plenty to enjoy.

This is a series of short novellas some better than others. Over all if you wanted to fill your kindle with an easy read then Leslie north & co is for you. Thank you NetGalley for letting me read and review

Thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC copy of Second Time's The Charm by Leslie North, Mary Sue Jackson, and Katie Knight.
This box set includes nine books centered around second chances. Some of these books are the first in a series, and I can honestly say a few left me wanting to continue the series. The stories feature ex-military heroes rekindling love with their first flames, as well as ranchers finding true love and getting another shot at happiness.
That said, by the time I reached book five, I felt a bit burnt out—even though second chances are one of my favorite tropes. Nine books felt excessive for a single box set, and I think four or five would have been the perfect number. However, each book was easy to read and could be finished in just a few hours.

Do you enjoy second chance romance reads? I just finished a collection of good reads. Second Time's the Charm by Leslie North, Mary Sue Jackson, and Katie Knight is one to grab. It's out now.
