Friendships are hard to make and maintain in general, but all the more when set against the background of the competitive, backstabbing, and toxic world of music -- even at the very basic, grassroots level. Playing (pun intended) to the desires of youth to belong, be famous, and be loved, Rock War 1 also manages to bring flashes of insight into what really matters.
