Secrets, lies, deception, and relationships take center stage in My Loving Husband! Who can you trust? How well do you know those in your life? Who can you trust? Are some of the questions that arise in this book! I thought I knew where Sheryl Browne was going and was enjoying the thrilling ride, and then she shocked me so completely with one twist that I was left reeling!!!!
Maddie and Cole are a married couple with three children. Both are busy with their careers. Maddie is a nurse and Cole is a surgeon who has long and unpredictable hours. Could lack of sleep or something else be causing the distance Maddie is beginning to feel in her marriage. She has noticed a change in Cole and is uncomfortable with the relationship he has with a co-worker. Her minds can't help but wonder if he is having an affair. When Maddie receives a call telling her that ."Your husband is planning to kill you…", she is shocked to the core!
Whew! This book is brimming with drama, secrets, tension, dread, lies, and threats. This book kept me on my toes and turning the pages. There are characters that I liked, ones I questioned their motives, ones I disliked, and some I wasn't sure what to think of them. I enjoyed how my feelings toward some of the changed throughout the course of reading this book. This book had me changing my theory on who could be trusted multiple times while reading. I enjoyed the many twists, turns, and revelations which made this book a thrilling and gripping shock filled ride! This is the 7th book that I have read by Sheryl Browne, and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Maddie is a nurse married to Cole, a handsome and well-respected surgeon. They have a good life and happy home with their three children, but then Cole starts working later and later. Maddie receives some anonymous texts, including, “Your husband is trying to kill you”.
A brilliantly written, gripping read.

This story is about a couple named Marie and Cole and their 3 children, Ellie, Jayden and Lucas.
The family is struggling recently with Cole’s long hours at work being a neurosurgeon.
Marie starts receiving strange, threatening texts about Cole.
Who is this person and how can she stop these messages?
I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down.

My Loving Husband by Sheryl Browne. I really enjoyed this one and read it in a day 😅 It’s a psychological thriller that really makes you wonder who you can trust. A woman receives a text saying “Your husband is planning to kill you,” and that’s where the lies and deceit really ramps up. Honestly I was questioning everyone in this book! It amazing that with just one text, the life you know and the people you love can unravel.
A brilliantly fast paced thriller that I could not put down, and read at every opportunity during the day. Exactly the kind of book I love!

your loving husbandright? this book was just brilliant. i can not recommend it enough. read it. read it now. its had me in shivers. that nervous energy you get when something is scary in a mind bending way. i couldnt see where this was going. i was wondering about the husband and just what was going on. was he innocent or was his long work hours and his stance in the community just a façade as they so often can be?
then the wife. like all thriller readers i wanted to question everything as the angst of the book propelled me forward!
and the text messages saying he wanting to kill the wife? you what now!?
this was just the best kind of thriller and i couldnt have asked for more.

2.5/5
The overall plot of this book was amazing. I loved every suspenseful minute. However, the writing was quite hard to read. There were time when it was switching between 1st and 3rd person.

I thought I had this story figured out—several times. I was wrong.
Sheryl Browne delivers a chilling, twist-filled thriller that had me questioning everything. When a devoted wife receives an anonymous message—Your husband is planning to kill you—her seemingly perfect life unravels. But is Cole really the biggest threat?
The pacing is relentless, the tension razor-sharp. Browne masterfully peels back layers of deception, crafting complex, unsettling characters. Just when I felt steady, another twist sent me reeling. Dark, immersive, and impossible to put down, My Loving Husband will keep you guessing until the final page. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨4.5/5

Another brilliant, twisty read from Sheryl Browne; I loved it!
Maddie and her handsome surgeon husband, Cole, have a great marriage with three gorgeous children. But the combination of Cole's longer and longer hours at the hospital and the anonymous warning texts Maddie is receiving, are starting to drive a wedge between them.
There is a LOT going on in this book. Not in a confusing way at all as the writing is so good that it's easy to keep track of the characters and events, but in a gripping way that will immerse you in the brilliant plot, gasping out loud as each twist draws you deeper and deeper into the lies and deceit.
I really liked Maddie and Cole and their eldest daughter, Ellie, was such a great character; Sheryl aced that delicate balance of "almost an adult and can be super helpful and mature", with "I'm still a teenager, don't push your luck!"
I didn't know who to trust and couldn't put the book down!
5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Sheryl Browne and Bookouture, for an ARC in return for an honest review.

This book is about Maddie, a nurse, and her husband Cole, a neurosurgeon. They have three children: Ellie and twins Lukas and Jayden. It’s a happy family, but lately, Cole has been coming home later and working more. Maddie has started receiving strange messages like, “Are you sure your husband is where he says he is?” “He is lying,” and “Your husband wants to kill you,” among others.
It’s an addictive psychological thriller with intriguing twists. The only thing that confused me was that the ending felt a bit rushed. But overall I like the book!
Thank you, NetGalley, for this ARC! ✨

This book I could not put down loved it from beginning to end. I would highly recommend!! This isn't like something ie read before.

I would say that My Loving Husband is a intense and ultimately crazy mysterious physcological thriller! It focuses on husband and wife team Maddie and Cole. Cole is a busy surgeon and is working long, late hours. Maddie is trying to juggle looking after their kids while having a hectic nursing career. Then Maddie receives some disturbing text messages and this is when everything starts to unravel. It's a mystery and I just had to keep reading to discover who and what was behind the messages! I became more involved the more I read. The ending is bizarre but authentic.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. I am pretty sure that I read a different book then everyone else. This wasn't suspenseful, it was frustrating. All of the trouble and drama could have been solved by one mature, adult conversations until of a bunch of random assumptions that blow things up!

Another 5 star read from Sheryl Browne! Wow I loved it. Packed with tension and secrets. I had no idea who to trust. Fabulous characters that kept me totally gripped from beginning to end. I burned the midnight oil with this one. Don’t let it pass you by.
Thank you NetGalley, Sheryl Browne and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This was such a mysterious book. The twist kept coming, and it kept your wheels spinning of trying to solve the mystery. There was several twist I did not see coming & one that I figured out early on. This was a gripping book & quickly sucked me in. The story was very well written and an intense read, however the ending did feel a little rushed. Throughout the book you get a ton of build up to what is happening in great detail but there were a still unanswered questions for me. Overall I still enjoyed this book and would absolutely read another book by this author. Thank you Netgalley & Bookouture for this ARC!

I could not put this book down. It pulled me in page by page. Definitely wasn’t expecting the twist at the end. One of the best books I have read so far in 2025!

a thrill ride for sure. i was captivated from start to finish.if you love family dramas, secrets and psychological thrillers that messes with your head then this book is for you..
Thanks publisher and netgalley. all my thoughts and opinions are my own.

My Loving Husband is a gripping psychological thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The story begins with a seemingly perfect family—except for the unsettling tension in the relationship between the narrator and her surgeon husband, Cole. The narrative takes a dark turn when the protagonist receives a cryptic message warning her that her husband is planning to kill her.
The author masterfully builds suspense, skillfully weaving between the narrator’s doubts, fears, and the secrets lurking beneath the surface of their seemingly perfect life. The twists are clever, and just when you think you know where the story is headed, it surprises you with an unexpected revelation. The pacing is fast, the characters are complex, and the sense of dread is palpable throughout.
While the plot is compelling, there were a few moments where I wished for a bit more depth in the secondary characters and their motivations. However, the intense focus on the main character’s emotions and unraveling of the mystery kept me hooked.
If you enjoy psychological thrillers that explore trust, deception, and family secrets, My Loving Husband is an excellent choice. It’s a thrilling ride that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about the people closest to you.

A quick and easy read that was well paced with a good amount of twists, tension and suspense in the plot line. It definitely kept me guessing

This idea behind this book was good! The book did get a bit repetitive though, and probably could have been cut down a bit to avoid this. Overall the twists were average. It was an easy, relaxing read.
Thank you to NetGalley, Sheryl Browne, and Bookouture for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Really enjoyed. Didn't see the end coming, which is a shocker for me. Great character building..and assassinating too lol. Loved it
