A good read with plenty of twists.
I did feel it was a little to long.

I found this book to be very mysterious and exciting! I love the cover of the book, which is what initially made me want to read it. I found it to be very well written and an easy read. It felt more like a mystery to me, until towards the end. The ending of this book was definitely a gripping psychological thriller to me. I do love reading a good mystery story, ending with some thriller. This book did have some interesting and likable characters in it. I was a fan of Maddie, Ellie and Cole! The storyline felt realistic and I loved the plot! I rate this book 4 stars out of 5!

This book is about a husband named Cole, a wife named Maddie and their three children. While Cole and Maddie are busy with their careers, it starts to put a strain on their relationship. Out of the blue, Cole’s wife starts getting weird messages. These messages are important as the storyline unfolds.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery, along with some thriller in it! This story comes with content warnings, so be sure to read those.

Thank you to NetGalley, author Sheryl Browne, and Bookouture for letting me receive a digital advanced reader’s copy of this book, in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions on this book are my own.

This book is set to be published on April 7, 2025!

Maddie and Cole have very busy lives, between their careers and home life, there is little time to spend with each other. Maddie starts getting anonymous texts saying that Cole is cheating and wants to get rid of her.

This is a slow burn domestic thriller written in various POV's. An addictive and gripping book, which kept me up late into the night. I just had to see the ending - which was totally WOW.... unexpected, what a twist!!
I guarantee that you will enjoy this book, I certainly did.
Was grabbed from the first page till the last.
And did I mention that shock ending? Jaw dropping!!

I love Sheryl Browne's psychological thrillers and this one is no exception. The Chase family, which the story revolves around, is a typical family. Both parents are successful in their fields, their teenage daughter is in University, and 6-year-old twin boys.

The chapters were short and presented in various points of view: Madelyn Chase, Cole Chase, Ellie Chase, and more.

Who was the murderer? Was Cole having an affair with Madelyn's friend, Kelsey?

This book kept me turning the virtual pages, trying to figure it out. But the twist at the end? It sent chills down my back. I didn't see it coming.

Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Not my favorite by her. Maddie starts getting calls and texts that her husband is cheating and wants her dead. Her husband, Cole, does seem to work longer hours lately...Maddie's daughter is dealing with a lot also and isn't sure how to handle her emotions. Cole is dealing with some past trauma and issues he has with his dad and his bullying. Things start to spiral out of control even more. Is being set up? Is he guilty of what the texts are saying? Some good suspense but I did feel it was a little long.

Wow, this’ll make your head spin. Short chapters, multiple POVs and lots of tidbits of information dropped along the way make this a really twisty read. Who can you blame? Can you really blame them? Not my favourite of her titles but I flew through it in 2 days. As always, I look forward to Sheryl Browne’s next book.
Thank You to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Sheryl Browne for the opportunity to read and enjoy this ARC.

This book was absolutely addictive and gripping. I seriously WOULD NOT even start this book unless you have cleared your schedule because you will not be able to put it down!!!

I absolutely flew through it in one sitting and it genuinely was unputdownable! A true page turner absolutely rammed with suspense, tension and everything you want when you read a psychological thriller. Maddie as a character intrigued me I found her chapters tense and twisty (you will see what I mean when you read it!)

I finally turned the last page at 1am. Yes. this book is that good!!! A definite MUST READ!!!!

A slow burn domestic thriller that had my mind spinning with questions. All of the characters seemed unreliable which made me question everything even more. The twists come at the very end and it definitely wasn’t what I expected!

This story centers around the Chase family: Maddie, a pediatric nurse, Cole, a neurosurgeon, their daughter Ellie and their twin sons, Lucas and Jayden. Things have been a bit rough for them lately. Cole has been working really long hours, often coming home late at night, leaving Maddie with all of the responsibility. Ellie has a traumatic secret that she’s keeping from her parents. The twins are just confused by the constant arguing in the home.

Maddie’s main worry is if her husband is having an affair, with his long hours and ignoring her for his phone. Soon, she starts getting messages - does she know where her husband is? Does she realize she needs to be careful? Does she know her husband is planning to kill her?

Does the pretty, young trainee who has glommed onto Cole have anything to do with these threats? Is she also the reason that he’s been coming home late? At first I thought this was the basic story of an affair, but it actually becomes a dark story full of suspense. Since the book is written from the perspectives of the characters, you get a good look into their minds and what drives them to do the things they do. I feel like the synopsis doesn’t do the book justice, as you’re in for more than a typical domestic thriller. 4.5 stars!

(Thank you to Bookouture for inviting me on this book tour! “My Loving Husband” is slated to be released on April 7, 2025.)

This talented author has written a page turner. Red herrings kept me guessing. Perhaps a little too much information at times…that being said, this is intrigue, mystery, and suspense….this book is difficult to put down…I guessed the ending, but it was not easily accomplished. Thanks Netgalley

What a roller coaster of a ride. I truly did not know which direction the book was heading in. It has some disturbing parts and a truly shocking ending.

One happy family: two parents and three children. They have everything they need, but do you get what you see or is it a gold plated facade you are dealing with?

It seems like someone is scraping off some of that golden paint, putting Cole in a bad light and making his wife Maddie doubting everything he says or does. But who is the one with the scraper in hand?

Who can you really trust and who is a wolf in sheep's clothing?

Some author's writing style is like trying to fit a square plug into a round hole, other's is like a warm knife sliding through butter. And when a book is fluently written, it adds to the reading pleasure. If you are wondering how I would describe this author's style, I can tell you it is like a swan gliding through the water of a calm lake. :)

I liked the characters except for one, Cole's dad. The others, even though some of them were not very nice, I understood their motives and that's why I can feel sympathy up to a certain level.

Then comes the ending... it's utterly chilling, I can tell you.

As per usual, a splendid book by this author. 5 stars

Thank you
