This cookbook had very easy recipes. I highly recommend this book. It's worth buying. If you love to cook this book is for you.

Everything looks yummy! Overall, the book was well written and I did really enjoy it. Thank you for this advance reading copy!

** spoiler alert ** This cookbook is absolutely amazing! Well i guess it would actually be a baking book. It would be great for beginners (like me) who want to get into baking but have no idea where to even start. Yes, some of the recipes are more advanced than others but there’s also really great tips for beginners. Before even getting to the recipes, it gives you tips for mixing your ingredients, creaming methods, gluten free methods, and piping bag tips for icing. It gives you tips on baking times and temperatures, tips for filling your cupcakes, mixing icing colors, and using stencils. If you’re a SUPER beginner it even lays out what ingredients are considered to be wet vs. dry.
The first set of recipes is butter cream recipes, and these are all laid out and ranked on their level of sweetness, which is good for someone like me cause I don’t like my buttercream super sweet. So it’s nice to have options like that.
In the back of the book there is a conversion chart and an index. So if I was wanting to bake cupcakes for Father’s Day, I could go look for “Father’s Day” in the index and go to the recipe. If I wanted to use dates as an ingredient in my cupcake, I could look up “date” and go to the recipe for cupcakes using dates.
A great variety of flavors are explored in this book. Floral flavors like rose, sweet flavors like blueberry lemon, and different flavors like Thai tea and there’s even cupcakes sorted by season!
For dog lovers— there’s a recipe for you! Pupcakes.
Amazing. The author and her partner really thought of EVERYTHING when writing this book. & I am definitely going to use it to bake cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday next month!!

Let them Eat Cupcakes by Gabrielle Cote is sweetness embodied! Just when I thought my own creativity was sufficient in the kitchen, I was introduced to 100 other variations. There are not enough calories in any given time period to sufficiently sample all of these in a regular cadence, but I sure will have fun trying! So many occasions and seasons are covered in addition to some twists on classics. You will also find dietary alternatives and accommodations, so there really is something for everyone included. The pictures are really helpful, whether you are novice or expert, in helping to home in your techniques. The pictures of the final products are inspiring, especially if decorating is not naturally your specialty. Get ready to have a blast trying these creations and maybe even adding your own personal touches.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.

This is such a lovely cupcake recipe book! I found it to be very informative and I liked that the author included some general tips and information about baking cupcakes at the beginning before jumping into the recipes.
I thought this recipe book was extremely well organized with basic cupcake batter recipes and buttercream recipes included toward the beginning, detailed and specific cupcake recipes included in the middle, and an appendix at the end. Also, I liked that the author broke down the recipes by holidays/special occasions, seasons, cupcake recipes for children, etc. The fall and spring recipes were my favorite.
I appreciated the variety in flavors and the refreshing takes on classic and traditional recipes. There were many unique flavors and flavor combinations featured which I don't come across often when looking for recipes. Additionally, I appreciated the inclusion of a vegan buttercream, vegan & gluten-free cupcake batter, and gluten-free cupcake baking tips. There was even a recipe for pupcakes, dog-friendly cupcakes, which made me so happy!
The only thing missing that I would have liked to be included were some decorating tips. The photos were beautiful but the cupcakes were decorated with so much skill and talent that I couldn't attempt to replicate without some guidance from the author.
I would definitely recommend this recipe book to experienced and new bakers who are interesting in baking cupcakes.

This book looks amazing. The author gives great detail on how do each step in making beautiful cupcakes.
I can’t wait for this to come out in print. I will definitely be buying this book for my baking shelf.

I like the recipes. It takes you from basic to more elaborate flavours in one book.
What I didn't like is the way the book is set up. It tells you a few base recipes for cupcake batters and different buttercreams which suggests that these are the pages you'll be coming back to for those but somewhere in the middle it starts referencing batters from other recipes. I would've preferred those to be also in the beginning.
The short recipes in the back I'm torn about. Some could have been incorporated into the corresponding recipes but mainly the formatting throws me off a bit, since it's so different from the rest of the book. I think it would have been more coherrent if there where a few pictures.
What really irks me is that the ingredients aren't listed if the recipe is found somewhere else in the book. I like to see my ingredients on one page and then I can go look at the recipe on another page but flipping through the whole book just to get my ingredients from three different pages actually makes me think if I really want to bake that.

Thank you, Netgalley and Cidet Mill Press for gifting me an arc of this cookbook. My review is entirely voluntary.
This was a fun cookbook with lots of interesting recipes. I liked the different kinds of icings and the themed cupcakes. All of the recipes were really easy to follow. I feel like beginning bakers would have an easy time with these cupcakes. I am very much looking forward to trying more of the recipes.

Unfortunately can’t leave a review as can’t view the files, but will definitely be buying this as an avid baker

As someone who makes cupcakes only for loved ones; generally children, and some guests, and not for myself or my partner, I appreciated the wide range of flavours, types and designs for the recipes in this book.
The design of the book with the page layouts, photos and fonts are lovely too.

This cookbook is filled with lots of yummy recipes. Clear and easy to follow instructions. Some handy tips at the beginning of the book. Would be nice to have photos of each recipe.

I was hooked from the title and the catchiness of the description, however, a lot of the recipes are just mixing and matching cake and frosting recipes. I do appreciate the numerous amounts of fillings and toppings recipes.
