Received this as an ARC as an audiobook from Victory Editing through NetGalley. Audiobook format had fantastic editing, sound effects, and narration. Story kept me engaged but was predictable at times, a typical domestic thriller.

Thank you to Red Raven Publishing and Netgalley for the advance copy of this audiobook. All opinions in this review are my own!

What a wild ride this book was! I loved the plot twists and the way the author really made you confused for a good while about who to believe and who to like. It took me a little bit to start liking Meg, the FMC, but once the story unfolds I was rooting for her. Very nice ending and overall a thrilling read!

I actually didn’t see the ending of this one coming! It took me a bit to warm up to the FMC Meg but once things started coming together, it all made sense! I finished in less than a day, I didn’t want to stop listening

This was my introduction to this author. I don’t know whether to love her or be really hopeful I don’t ever accidentally bump into her. What an absolute creep fest. The story is told from multiple perspectives chapter by chapter. Cole, from the outside, seems like an amazing husband and father. He loves his daughter so much and is taking care and trying to be patient with his wife after an accident that left her with a brain injury and physical issues. What a good guy. Only he is not. He is the opposite. Meghan is sure someone is trying to kill her. Who was she before the accident as she is so different from before. Her daughter loves her, but at times she’s a little more than afraid of her. And what is Meghan going to do to deal with her husband's behavior? And who the heck is following her and trying to kill her? According to Cole, it's all in her mind. So very twisted, dark, creepy and most every other adjective in the thesaurus. Lots of twists and turns along the way lead to an interesting, satisfying ending. I kind of hope that there will be a follow up to when

Very cool audiobook with the sound effects, phone calls, and “real” convos. However the plot fell flat for me. There was too much going on in attempt for plot twists but it just got confusing and some wasn’t necessary.

This book is a solid 4.5 for me.
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and publisher, for this ARC, all opinions are my own.
Shade Owens is a new author for me, and The Webs You Weave made me a fan.
I live for a good domestic thriller, so this book was right up my alley.
Owens draws you in right away with a cryptic description of Meghan’s current situation.
This book follows Meg, Cole and Hazel through the domestic drama that is their lives with a multi POV style of writing.
Meg is tired of her husband's dishonesty and infidelity. He only hires the prettiest assistants and comes home late every night. She knows she is right about the late nights and missed dinners, and Cole can't convince her otherwise. Accident or not, she knows something isn’t right.
Cole is trying to convince Meg that she is crazy and is imagining these affairs. He claims he has made mistakes but that is in the past. He claims Meg’s accident has left her with gaps and an unreliable reality.
Hazel is caught in the middle and just wants to escape by spending her time with her best friend, she is worried about her mom but also feels like she is too hard on her and feels detached from her. She values her father's care but questions some of his actions.
As Meg and Cole weave through the web of lies that is their life who will come out on top and how will Hazel fair? Is Meg crazy as Cole claims or is Cole the adulterous husband Meg thinks he is. Read this unexpected, suspenseful twisty tale to see what happens.

The Webs You Weave sucks you in from the beginning. The middle is a little drawn out, but the ending is the reason I have this 4 stars. This book has an explosive ending with twists that you just don’t see coming!

Thank you so much for allowing me to listen to this amazing Shade Owens novel!

The webs you weave is such a good, quick book! I liked the narrators voices. Megan & Hazels were very calming and easy to listen to. I did not guess the ending (fully, I did guess some!) but for a quick, one day read it was great! I certainly could put this book on par with Freida McFadden or John Marrs books!

As for the actual book content, I really liked the storyline! I truly think that there wasn’t any big plot holes and everything lined up nicely!

The ending was so sweet and just overall a great & easy read! Loved it.

4 stars

Meghan is married to Cole, a serial cheater. She had an accident a year ago and still suffering from the resulting traumatic brain injury. Lots of gaslighting going on as you try to figure out if either of them are reliable narrators. Told in multiple POVs, which I always enjoy.

I enjoyed listening to Kaden Catalina and Jay Parker.

Shade Owens doesn't disappoint! Every book I've read I'd full of craziness in the best way. Please keep writing thrillers!!

Meghan has always been upset about her husband Cole's cheating ways. She suffered a horrible car accident and is dealing with the strain from that. The story just gets crazier as it goes along. Don't miss this or any Shade Owens books

Meghan knows her husband Cole is a serial cheater and would have left him long ago if it wasn't for their daughter. Meghan knows what it is to grow up in a messy home and doesn't want the same for Hazel. But when Cole goes too far with one of his flings, Meghan is out to teach him a lesson he will never forget.

I hadn't heard of this book before coming across the audiobook on NetGalley this week and I am so glad I did! This book was toxic, dramatic, and suspenseful in the best ways. A hooking psychological drama that keeps you following from start to finish. The title is perfect for this book because it is one tangled web after another as the story starts to reveal the lengths that have been gone to for revenge. The are so many layers to the story that keep you on your toes. The narration and audio was great and I didn't want to stop listening to this book!

Thank you to Netgalley, Red Raven Publishing, and Victory Editing for the audiobook for review. And of course, Shade Owens for the great read!

The Webs You Weave is a gripping psychological thriller that is absolutely unputdownable. I was hooked right off the bat. This book truly kept me on the edge of my seat with the building suspense and the short chapters. I absolutely loved the multiple POV’s and timelines, it really made me so much more engaged in the story. There are so many lies, secrets, twists and drama it was impossible to look away.

The author skillfully created a plot that unraveled at the perfect pace and kept me invested. The characters were all untrustworthy and I kept going back and forth on who to trust. This book truly kept my mind spinning and the twists definitely smacked me in the face a few times.

Overall, this was an amazing psychological thriller that I absolutely loved. It has everything I look for in one, it was absolutely unputdownable and highly bingeable.

I think that this was a good book but it just wasn't a book for me. There were a lot of twists which I like but I felt like it was too long. The narrators were good.

Well well… “The Webs You Weave” was definitely the perfect title for this book because there were definitely some webs woven!!! This author skillfully unravels the complexities of a marriage in trouble and it captured me from the very beginning until the very end. The story follows Meghan and Cole.. Meghan is recovering from a brain injury, while Cole continues to work & provide for Meghan & their teenage daughter Hazel. However, since Cole is a habitual cheater, Meghan is suspicious of this latest behaviors.

Highly recommended as these jaw dropping plot twists just kept coming! The alternating first person points of view & dual narration in the audiobook brought some extra “umph” that I really enjoyed! Shade Owens has a new fan! This one will stick with me for a while & live rent free in my head. 4.5⭐️

This was such a quick fast paced ride! I loved having a multiple povs in the story because it’s kinda cool getting to see why things happened the way they did. I think it did a great job making you question so much and had you racing to the end to figure out what really is going on. I think it was interesting to get to dive into a family and see all points of view and how someone thinks the actions they are doing is the right way and how someone else takes those actions. I think a lot of the time we have soooo many misunderstandings and this book does a great job showing how easy things like that can happen. This is definitely a book to read if you love Frieda McFadden books because it gives off that vibe of what the heck is going on and I can’t wait to see the twist!!!! And this one has some so yay to that! Thanks to NetGalley for giving me a chance to read this definitely an author I will be on the look out for in the future!
