This was such a good sequel and one were I enjoyed getting the little sisters story as well. I loved the family and hope we get to see more of them in the future.

Genevieve Grimm wants answers so she goes to Enchantra. There she will meet Rowin Silver and the adventure begins. She is now trapped and must partner Rowin to take part in the annual deadly game. Can they win or even survive?
Very well written and narrated (I listened to the audiobook). Very good characters in this fast moving, magical novel. The Silver family must fight every year to keep their mother alive. This must be stopped and can a cure be found.?

I loved Phantasma but there’s something about Rowin that has me rating Enchantra higher.
I love the balance of the Game, romance, tension, and spice. I really feel that this book balanced the spice out perfectly because I did think book one had too much spice, but this one had perfect amount.
I really loved the storyline of this book and how it continued off of book 1. We also get to see a glimpse of the main characters from Phantasma.
The fact that the main game in this book is a collection of games with a different hunter each round had me on edge for each game. There was a lot of different twist and turns that made the book highly entertaining. The romance between the two main characters was so good. Some of the things that Rowin says had me screaming and kicking my feet.
The audio for this one was very good. The voice actor for the male main character was my favorite. I love how he embodied Rowin. I also enjoyed the female main character narrator, but the male narrator was chefs kiss.
Overall, I would highly recommend reading this book if you loved the first book. I also would recommend this book if you love trials and games and also if you love paranormal romance.

Massive thanks to Noelle at Second Sky for sending me a copy 💜 this is my honest review.
After Phantasma (Wicked Games I) made my top listens of last year, I'd been anticipating this book. Checking NetGalley to see if it was there had become a bit of an obsession. When the audiobook widget arrived in a surprise email from Noelle at Second Sky, I did an imaginary jig in my mind while whooping and grinning simultaneously.
Laura Horowitz again breathes life into Kaylie Smith's incredible writing, bringing the characters and story to stunning life. I have no idea how she makes the male characters sound so swoon-worthy (or vile!), but I'm here for it!
Genevieve Grimm travels to the strange Enchantra estate after opening an invitation meant for her dead mother. Vivvie is late and unwelcome, but she doesn't let that stop her from entering the intriguing house. Soon trapped in an impossible reality, her only possible way out tied to the appealing yet frustrating Rowin Silver...
As the enticing, sinister hunt begins, things heat up to a scorching level between Vivvie and Rowin, making me blush through my headphones. You may want to have a cold shower on hand!
Once I'd pressed play, I couldn't stop listening to Enchantra. Kaylie Smith's phenomenal writing and Laura Horowitz's passionate narration grabbing my heart ❤️ The characters are completely addictive and the story utterly compelling.

Gahhhhhh this series has me in such a choke hold. I'm absolutely obsessed with the Grimm sisters and I loved Rowan and Vivi's story. This game was suspenseful, a touch unhinged and so much fun and the romance had me swooning, especially with how it all ends. I fell so dang hard for these two.
I really enjoyed the whole Silver family and I really hope this isn't the last we've heard of them. There was this underlying sense of found family with them for Vivi, despite her sister and Salem loving her, she just seemed to fit into their crazy so well. I loved the whole premise of these games too, it was a great concept and had me hooked.
Laura Horowitz did amazing with the narration. I loved the way she brought Vivi and co to life and I'm hoping she's coming back for book three too. PS she's so funny on social media and a great follow!

PLEASE 5 - Stars will NEVER be enough!
HOLY CRAP! The way I SCREAMED when I got the email that I was being given an ALC of this book. I've been waiting so long for this story.
Oh. My. Freaking. God. I thought Phantasma was amazing but this book...this next book...I'll never forget it. NEVER. Not just because I plan to read and reread it forever.
Rowin...oh my sweet sweet Rowin. I adore you.
Genevieve...everything you ever wanted should be yours and I believe that you've gained it with Rowin.
The Silver Family is stuck in a horrible game. Each year all of the siblings must compete against each other in order to gain freedom for another year. The rest must return to Hell to do Knox bidding for another year in order to keep their mother alive. Genevieve in a search for answers about herself and her mother turns up on the Silver Family doorstep. Now she's found herself married and a part of the competition. Can she survive it as a human?
You're going to need a box of tissues, I swear I stayed crying the last 15% of this book.
I'm going to be on the edge of my seat until the next book. I'm so sorry Kaylie Smith, but you created this monster within me BEGGING you to write faster.

SWOON.
Between Kaylie Smith and Kerri Maniscalco, I need a devil, a demon, a prince of hell desperately in my life.
I can't believe I got to open my email to an invite to read book two. Phantasma had me hooked on just the cover once upon a time when I'd requested it. And then story had me obsessing. The cover of Enchantra was equally stunning and I counted down the days until publish. Yet here I got to start reading it yesterday and finish it today.
Sequels are a hard thing for an author to Conquer when they come out with a strong debut. But Kaykie Smith absolutely crushed it. I couldn't choose a favorite between the two. They're both so good. The level of spice is perfection. The trope: faux marriage during a deadly game...um yes a thousand times yes.
She's mine. He's mine. As they deny anything more. And I know I'll get this line wrong...so I'll just quote the end of it "you'll never be nothing." EXCUSE ME.
This books is delicious as I'm pretty sure the whole series will be. I'm now counting down until another release from this series, this author. Auto read, auto buy. Gimme all the books.

THANK YOU NETGALLEY AND BOOKOUTURE AUDIO FOR THIS ALC!!!
Laura Horowitz is, hands down, phenomenal. I absolutely love her performance. Her voices are captivating and wonderful for every character.
Freaking hell. This series. Phantasma hooked me. Enchantra enthralled me. My heart. It was stolen and ripped from my chest and then repaired. Rowan and Genevieve! Wow. The sass, the semi-slow burn, and then the fireworks!!
I am very much looking forward to the next book…

Last year I stepped outside my comfort zone and entered the world of dark romantasy with PHANTASMA. And, guess what? I loved it there, so it’s no surprise I eagerly anticipated the release of ENCHANTRA, the second book in the series. The big question was whether Kaylie Smith could deliver a worthy sequel. The answer is a resounding HELL YES!!!
ENCHANTRA is Genevieve’s story. Raised as the non-magical Grimm sister, Genevieve is trying to find her place in the world when she receives a mysterious invitation to an Italian estate. Once there she finds herself unable to escape; locked into a dangerous family game where there can only be one winner. The penalty for losing? Trapped in hell until the next game. Genevieve quickly learns that her chances for victory (and survival) increase if she marries pompous, yet incredibly handsome, Rowin Silver, and they compete as a team.
During this kill or be killed version of hide-and-seek, we discover that Genevieve is no shrinking violet waiting to be saved. No, she is a badass, crafty, worthy competitor and that makes her irresistible to Rowin. What starts as a marriage of survival quickly turns into a steamy, lust filled partnership and it is INTENSE.
I alternated between the print and audio versions of this book and literally hung on every word. The production value of the audiobook was exceptional and Laura Horowitz‘s narration perfectly captured the growing lustful tension and budding romance between Genevieve and Rowin. My pulse quickened as the lovers made their way through the dangerous labyrinth.
Kaylie Smith has written a second heart pounding dark fantasy with an interesting premise and plenty of spice. This is a perfect read (or listen) for those who like their romance hot, their heroines feisty, and their heroes morally grey.
Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture Audio, and Second Sky/Forever for the gifted advance copies. All opinions are my own.

Enchantra is an absolutely captivating read that hooked me from the very first page. If you loved Phantasma as much as I did, you'll be thrilled with this latest installment. The author has truly outdone hers, creating an experience that feels both fresh and familiar, with new surprises around every corner.
One of the most exciting aspects of Enchantra is the new game introduced within its pages. The intricacies of the gameplay are fascinating, and it adds a unique layer of tension and excitement to the story. Alongside this, we're introduced to a whole host of new characters who are vibrant, complex, and so vividly described that I can already imagine the stunning character art they’ll inspire. The author’s ability to bring these personalities to life is nothing short of brilliant.
The world-building in Enchantra is an absolute masterclass. It’s seamlessly woven into the storyline, immersing readers without ever feeling like an info dump. The settings are rich and dynamic, serving as the perfect backdrop for the compelling plot. Speaking of which, the plot itself is an intricate and well-crafted tapestry. Every twist and turn kept me on the edge of my seat, and the stakes felt incredibly real. And the characters? They’re so relatable and well-developed that it’s impossible not to form a deep connection with them. You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and root for them every step of the way.
For those who enjoy a bit of heat in their reads, Enchantra certainly delivers with just the right amount of spice. It’s tasteful, exciting, and fits naturally within rather than overpowering it.
I wholeheartedly loved this book. I can confidently see it becoming as beloved and popular as Phantasma. Enchantra is a triumph in every sense of the word, and I can’t recommend it enough!
The narrators voice enhanced the vibe the book was going for, definitely the right choice for gothic fantasy.
