Damn, if only I could use more stars to rate this masterpiece- cuz 5 won’t cut it. Oh my LORD how I loved this book!!! I had the pleasure of simultaneously listening to the ALC, and reading the ARC, and this immersive experience was absolutely mind blowing. I didn’t want it to end, and tried to make it last as long as possible. I’m already feeling bereft without these characters and this beautiful world. 😩 Phantasma has been my entire personality since I read the arc last year. I still think about it constantly, and I’ve never been able to shake it. And I’m not sure what sorcery Kaylie is dabbling in, but I somehow loved Enchantra even more! And that’s truly saying something.

This story picks up after the events of Phantasma, and centers around Genevieve Grimm, who has accepted an invitation from a mysterious friend of her mother’s. She travels to the estate of Enchantra, hoping to find answers about her mother‘s death, and perhaps become acquainted with some kindred spirits. But Genevieve unknowingly traps herself in the cursed mansion, and is forced to partake in a deadly game, along with a family who has been stuck in a never ending loop of torment.

Genevieve must team up with the insufferable Rowin, who makes her blood boil… for several different reasons. They have to convince everyone that they’re in love, and holy hells this was absolutely delicious. 🥵 Guys- the freaking BANTER!! I simply passed away from their heated exchanges. As they maneuvered their way from one game to the next, their attraction and bond grew deeper, and it was equal parts heartwarming, and hot as hell. I loved watching two characters, with walls built around themselves, slowly let their guards down and develop mutual trust. The way they found solace and comfort in each other was fcking beautiful.
And I fell in love with every one of Rowin’s siblings. Their dynamic was pure gold- they bickered, and viciously competed against each other, but you could still feel the love. And the way Genevieve slid seamlessly into this found family situation just melted my heart. 🥹

The tension. The enemies to lovers. The fake relationship that turned into so much more. The action and clever games. The chemistry and SPICE!! 💀 I just can’t say enough about this book, and I’m already chomping at the bit to be back in this world. If you haven’t read Phantasma yet, get on that STAT, then dive into this beauty. I envy anyone who gets to read these books for the first time.

🎧And as for the audiobook, the incomparable Laura Horowitz was SHEER PERFECTION. I’m at a loss for words on how to describe her performance- she just nailed it, and beautifully coveyed every emotion, ever morsel of angst, every hint of sorrow and fear. She had me feeling ALL OF IT. She BECAME each and every one of those characters. And her freaking man voice… it’s utterly to die for. She does spice like no other, and I was MELTING. 10/10 all day long. 👑👏🏻👏🏻

💫Thank you @secondskybooks @foreverpub & @bookoture for the ARC and the ALC!

A deadly game of hide and seek in a darkly enchanted palace set in Italy, Enchantra will draw you right in, wherther you are ready or not! When they say you should never make a deal with the devil they are not kidding around. Genevieve Grimm is no stranger to dark games after surviving Phantasma, but she defintiely gets a lot more than she expected when she's invited by a mysterious friend of her mother to Italy, only to find she has stepped into another deadly game. The only way to survive is to marry Rowin Silver and play as a pair in the deadly game that his family has been trapped in for years. Kaylie Smith creates the most amazing and unique worlds. Rowin and Genevieve definitely start off as enemies, but with their lives on the line, "pretending" to be smitten newlyweds is required and everyone is watching....everything. Forced proximity definitely works in their favor and as the games progress so do their feeings for each other. The games continue below the surface and Genevieve knows Rowin is keeping secrets along with the rest of the family. This story is dark, twisty and spicy and you will defiitely be drawn in and it definitely sets the stage for the next book, which I predict will involve both sisters and their beaus!

Laura Horowitz is back to narrate book two and her voice just add the perfect haunting edge. She is also able to capture the essence of all the characters that just adds so much depth to the listening experience.

I never thought I could love a book more than Phantasma, but I was wrong! This book has completely captured my heart and soul! Genevieve has bewitched me with her funny, sarcastic, and fierce characteristics. She is a refreshing change from the typical MFCs found in most romantacy novels.
When Genevieve enters the House of Enchantra, she quickly realizes it’s a dangerous game, much like Phantasma, only dark, dangerous and filled with deadly games full of peril. She came to Enchantra seeking answers about her curse and a way to break it, but what she doesn’t expect is to be forced into a marriage with the devilishly handsome Rowin. Yet, if she wants to survive and win, she has no choice but to except her fate.
The chemistry between Genevieve and Rowin is absolutely perfect and steamy! I also enjoyed the dynamics between Rowin and his family, their utter distruction of each other all while they are all pursuing the same goal… freedom. It added an unexpected layer of is heartbreak to their story.
And the narration by the incredible Laura Horowitz was on another level! Her voice brought the characters to life in such a way that I not only wanted to own the book but the audiobook as well, so I could listen to it time and time again!
Genevieve and Rowin will always have a special place in my heart, and their story will play on an endless loop in my mind.

Words cannot describe how much I loved this book! After reading Phantasma I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one! This story kept me on the edge of my seat and it was nearly impossible to stop listening to it. Laura did an amazing job narrating this story and I truly love her voice acting! Rowin has made his way to the top of my favorite MMCs and I can't wait to see what comes next for his family. I absolutely loved this book and I am so excited to see what Kaylie comes out with next!

OVERALL BOOK REVIEW:
chef’s. kiss. #WELLYES. this was everything i wished it to be and more. i am unhealthy levels of obsessed with genevieve and rowin. this book was a blast — i loved enchantra and the hunt. the game was so screwed up (queen kaylie writes really terrifying paranormal competitions like a BEAST) and all too captivating. some of the kills came out of left field and i was like HELLO. anyway, so awesome and fun. i was locked in. the romance?!?! yeah i need some water because i need to cool down. GIRL. rowington silver you sexy wraith! i am all about this man! i highlighted every single time the word “wife” came out of his mouth because i was simply so down bad. also every time he called her “trouble.” he’s just THAT GUY. and miss vivi was servingggggg!!!! a mortal locking down an immortal will always be iconic. tbh i love the entire silver family (the siblings, i lowkey don’t care about barrington at all) and cannot wait to get more moments of sevin and grave in book three. the plot twist was more like a double plot twist and had me running through my house with my kindle. i love a secret. i had such a good time with this book and will miss this world so much. 10/10 please let kaylie smith write in this universe forever.

thank you forever for the ARC!!!!

AUDIO REVIEW:
while i loved this book and read it in hybrid form, i was more inclined to read my digital galley than the audiobook. i didn’t find the audio engaging despite the story itself being very much so, which made my desire to listen a lot lower. the narrators were fine, but could have used more inflection and oomph in their delivery. however, again, the book itself was good and in technical terms the audio was very good with volume consistency, clarity, etc.

5 ⭐️

💜I loved this book so much. Genevieve is trying to track down answers about her family and her mother’s past and ends up stuck in a deadly game of hide and seek. The Silvers play the game every year to entertain the devils and in exchange Knox keeps their mother alive who is dying of crimson rot. Genevieve’s only chance at survival is to marry Rowin Silver who’s won the last 15 years of the game. & I mean Rowin is 🥵 so she got herself a pretty good deal.

“The light is wherever you are.”

• marriage of convenience
• curves FMC rep
• shadow wielder MMC with piercings
• deadly games
• found family
• fox familiar

I’m already so excited for Wicked Games # 3.

Thank you second sky books, bookouture audio, and NetGalley for the ARC and audiobook!

Book: Enchantra
Author: Kaylie Smith
Rating: 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ahhh! Another amazing book in the wicked games series.

This one gives you the sister of the FMC from books one story of her being thrown into a deadly game, full of demons, curses, and blackmail.

Of course you get an amazing morally grey MMC/romance plot, with twists & turns, secrets & lies, and never knowing who to trust.

Also the ending was perfection. I can't wait for book three!

You get:
• Dark Fantasy
• Spicy Romance
• Games
• Demons VS. Mortals
• Forced Proximity
• Marriage Of Convience
• Secrets & Lies

I highly recommend this one! Available on KU, ebook, paperback, and audiobook.

♡ Marriage of Convenience
♡ Shadow Magic
♡ Game of Survival
♡ Forced Proximity
♡ Found Family

"I'm convinced you were made by the King of devils himself to torture me for my sins."

"You're such a self-centered bastard. I deserve to be the center of my own story. I was not made for you."

"Truth. Truth. Lie."

Boy, oh, boy! If you thought Phantasma was great, just wait until you read about Genevieve and the Silvers!

Where Phantasma was dark Caraval vibes, Enchantra is the movie "Hide and Seek" but with devil bargains and a marriage of convenience. The entire cast is spectacular, the tension is impeccable, and the "MY WIFE" moments will leave you screaming into your pillow.

Thank you so much to the team at Second Sky Books for gifting me the early audio copy! As always, Laura Horowitz DELIVERS. She makes you forget that it's a single narration with her truly wonderful performance and range of character styles.

I am already foaming at the mouth for the next installment in this series of interconnected stand alones.

I want to thank NetGalley for approving me for an ALC of this book. I loved the audio of Phantasma and was very excited to listen to Genevieve's story.

Firstly, Laura Horowitz is an incredible narrator. I kept forgetting this wasn't being performed by multiple people, her ability to change her voice is incredible.

I loved Genevieve, the damsel in distress that saves herself. She's feisty, confident and determined to win the game, she's unwillingly been thrown into.

Rowin was dark, moody and possessive, a walking red flag but you can't help but love him. The connection between him and Genevieve was undeniable but it was the relationships with his siblings that I was mostly intrigued by.

I am so excited that there will be a third book in this series because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters. From the teaser we got at the end of this book I have a feeling the third is going to be phenomenal!

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith and narrated by Laura Horowitz is the second book in the Wicked Games. A spicy fantasy romance and it was an obsession for me. This was an audiobook that I just loved and the Narrator Laura was superb, she made this audiobook even more special.

This was packed with deadly intrigue with a spicy romance, Enchantra will transport you to a world of feisty heroines and morally gray love interests, fake dating, forbidden desire and family secrets. Just Superb from start to finish. It took my breath away!

Another 5 star read/audiobook.

Big Thank you to NetGalley and especially Bookouture Audio and Second Sky/Forever for my Audiobook and ARC.

3.5/5 - I really loved Phantasma (solid 4/5) but this one didn’t hit quite the same. The whole “games” part felt super repetitive and dragged a bit in the middle. I liked the beginning and the end way more.
I still don’t really vibe with Genevieve as a main character - didn’t love her in book one and didn’t change my mind here either. BUT I’m always down for enemies to lovers, the sibling dynamics were so good, and I’ve officially decided I love the “my wife” trope now 😂

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC ❤️

I adored Phantasma when I read it last year, so I couldn’t wait to read Enchantra. It more than lived up to my expectations. I loved both Genevieve and Rowin. Their characters were incredibly well developed, and the chemistry between them was perfection. I also really enjoyed the Silver family in general. They created a great host of varied characters for Genevieve to interact with. I also really enjoyed the game that the characters partake in. It was intense but still felt fresh and original. One of the elements I love most, though, about Smith’s writing is the imagery. Smith knows how to paint a decadent scene and doesn’t skimp on the details making for a luxurious experience. I combo read the ebook and audiobook for this. However, I definitely found myself more drawn to the audiobook. Horowitz’s narration is truly special. She draws you in and keeps you rooted in the story from start to finish. Horowitz also injects so much energy and life into the characters that you can’t help but want to read more. Overall, I loved this story and can’t wait for the third installment.

The Wicked Games series continues to hold me utterly at its mercy. Enchantra blew me away. Between high stakes games that were even more diabolical than those of Phantasma and the marriage of convenience to none other than a shadow daddy, I could not have been any more bewitched. The imagery that Kaylie Smith evokes with her writing is spectacular in and of itself and I felt like I was transported right into the Silver estate with the entire family. I really enjoyed the development of Genevieve and Rowins characters as they navigated the consequences of playing the game whilst chemistry boiled between them. The way Rowan reacted when he and Genevieve drank the passion fruit juice? Holy mother of God, I was on my knees. Every bit of tension and spice after that point was out of this world and the audio even took it to the next level. I cannot recommend these books enough. I'm pretty sure I cycled through every single emotion in these pages and I am only more eagerly awaiting the next.

The audio for this series so far has been second to none. Laura Horowitz has quickly become one of my favorite narrators and I love the way that she brings the characters to life. Every action seemed to be intensified with her voice and she masterfully evoked such feeling for each of the characters. This is one of those audiobooks that I will always recommend because listening to Enchantra is truly is own experience.

This was such a fun read!!! I loved the first installment but this one?? *chef's kiss* there's something about second books in series that focus on the second sister that speaks to me.

The FMC, Genevieve, is forced to participate in some deadly (literally) games in a fancy manor while she pretends to be in love with one of the owner's sons, who are all cursed to kill each other until only one remains alive for Hell's entertainment.
I loved Genevieve so much (I also loved the curvy rep) and the bonds she forms with some members of the Silver family, specially her relationship with Rowin Silver (the MMC). I only wish it had developed through a longer time period since it felt more insta-lusty than anything else, however in the context of the story and the amount of time in which it takes place it kind of makes sense.
Bonus: there's this animal companion that i just adored!
The audiobook was incredible as well, Laura Horowitz, the narrator, did amazing job.
I can't wait for the next instalment, hopefully it features both pairings from this book and the previous one.

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with both the e-arc and audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

4 freaking stars! I did not want to put it down. I loved Genevieve. She was stubborn but also relatable. The sibling dynamic and the games kept me hooked! I hope we get some of the Silver siblings' stories!

Really loved Enchantra! Its such a great read.. I loved the first one but this one I enjoyed more The author grew as a writer and it shows. This was a fun read, but I don’t know that I liked it quite as much as Phantasma. It felt very similar with just a couple tropes swapped out.

That said it was still entertaining, I especially loved the family aspect of the game. And I was screaming over Rowin more than once- what he does with his shadows… OMG.

Thank you to NetGalley & Second Sky Books for the ALC.

Enchantra was everything I didn’t know I needed it to be!
In complete honesty, I was going to read this but I wasn’t *dying* for it. I didn’t love Genevieve in Phantasma, so I just wasn’t super hopeful. I LOVE when I’m wrong about a book. I ended up liking it more than Phantasma! The audiobook is fantastic, Laura Horowitz does an outstanding.

Book Review
Enchantra: Kaylie Smith
🌕 🌕 🌕 🌕 🌕
🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kaylie Smiths’ Enchantra put a literal spell on me. This book was a literary masterpiece . If you enjoyed the first book demons, magic, and a gothic steamy love story your going to love Enchantra.
We follow Genevieve our curvy, spunky, sweet FMC as she recieves a letter in Italy while on vacation with Ophelia as an invitation that is meant for her deceased mother for a mansion in the country side. Vivi is looking for people like her. She doesn’t know that upon showing up she will encounter our MMC Rowington Silver brooding, tall, dark and handsome and the man literally shuts the door on her face. She learns that him and his 7 siblings have to play a dark magical hide and seek series of games where the winner doesn’t have to go to hell until the next game the following year a literal fight to the death and the favorite wins a trove from the devil Knox.
The banter, spice, forced marriage and fake relationship is amazing oh it’s all being watched from demons from hell through mirrors.
My favorite part of the story was the undeniable chemistry, baroque style, and with trials that were not handed to Vivi on a silver platter!

I also want to thank Kaylie Smith for giving me a complimentary ALC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review🥹

😇 “I need to feel you worship me.”
He smirked
😈 “I’m a creature of hell. Worshiping is not usually in my nature.”
“But for whatever time you remain in my bed, I will make it your shrine.”

A fun, quick paced romp through a enchanted house with twisty games and morally grey characters. This one lost points for me as I really don’t like the amnesia trope. Overall 3.5 stars.
