Swipe is a gripping thriller that masterfully blends suspense, crime, and modern-day dating dangers. Authors Bonnie Traymore and R.G. Belsky craft a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves a well-crafted mystery with unexpected turns!

Everyone knows that internet dating can be a nightmare, but rarely does it end in death! Least of all, for men. But that is precisely what seems to be happening, when a journo in search of a story discovers that clickbait he has been assigned to come up with actually has far greater journalistic potential than he expected.
At the other end of the equation, an understandably angry woman finds herself at the end of her tether when she encounters one cheating man after another on the dating app she is using. This is not a situation that is likely to end well...
An entertaining read, which provides an original take on a common trope, this is worth checking out. It gets 3.5 stars.

The story starts off strong, instantly hooking us with the occurrence of a death and the female lead, Sonya's, involvement in it. Immediately, we’re given intriguing backstories that make this a real page-turner. The dual POV structure provided a great sneak peek into both Jake and Sonya’s minds, which I really enjoyed. As the story developed, I was constantly on the edge of my seat—until it became predictable. Or maybe it was just me. But I guessed the main culprit halfway through, so the big revelation didn’t feel like a complete shock.
One of the best parts of this book was the character growth of Sonya and Jake. They start off flawed, with their own prejudices, but by the end, they acknowledge their mistakes and try to redeem themselves. However, a few moments felt forced, as if they were included just to advance the plot rather than happening naturally.
Another highlight was the ending. It didn’t abruptly stop after the climax—instead, it continued for a few chapters, which made the conclusion feel more satisfying. I especially loved the epilogue. Unlike the main showdown, the final revelations genuinely shocked me.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I feel like it could have been even better.
Thank you, NetGalley, Bonnie Traymore, and R.G. Belsky, for providing me with a copy of this book!

Sometimes you find a book that is so good it's really quite difficult to put down. Swipe by R. G. Belensky and Bonnie Traymore is one of those books .
To my pleasure while looking for another ARC from Netgalley I saw this book and knew it was exactly what I was looking for. The title drew me and the summery of the book sounded fun.
I was right. I literally completed the book in 2 and a half days and it only took me that long because I did have to sleep at least some hours at night.
It all started with a dating app
The story written thru the viewpoint of 2 different protagonists immediately drew me in from the first page. It was a murder mystery/ psychological thriller
One of the narrators Sonya ,who takes it too far, going after a date who she discovers immediately is cheating on his wife and she decides to teach him a lesson . One that goes horribly wrong and leads to his death.
The other narrator is a reporter Jake, who is assigned a clickbate article by his boss supposedly to report about the people who use dating apps and in the process finds much more to the story.
Seriously this is a great book for anyone looking for a fast but fun read. Swipe right for yes and enjoy.
I give the book five stars.
Thank you to #netgalley and #BooksGoSocial for such a good book. Sometimes you really do find the best things in small packages.

First of all, stories like this reaffirm my dislike of dating apps! I am far too paranoid for all that nonsense. That being said, Swipe was a quick, easy read but I did think it was a little predictable. I had an inkling from early on how things would play out and I was pretty close. There really didn't seem to be a lot in the way of character development and the way everything came together was a bit too "neat" for me, if that makes sense. I like a little more twist in my thrillers but overall, I'd say it was a solid 3.5 stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Fast paced and easy to read. Fun, lighthearted thriller with some good twists! Thank you for the advanced copy!

I had to unfortunately DNF. I got to the 50% mark and realised this one wasn’t for me. I just found it really boring, despite being really easy to read and fast paced, but I found the characters really uninteresting and I just didn’t want to continue reading. Despite being an easy read, it was not what I expected it to be so this was a no from me, as the path the story was taking did not excite me at all and I didn’t care to know what happened next.

This book was a very easy and fast read with good pacing and chapters that felt not too short and not too long. It kept me reading...or wanting to read more when I couldn't read at the moment. Great women's "tired of this bullsh*t" story". Sonya's tired of these married men on these dating apps. Only thing that I wish is more backstory or context on the characters or some parts of the story, but besides that, great novel.

I really enjoyed this book. A quick book with lots of twist that make you want to read more and hooks you in.

is there anyone that hasnt had a bad dating online experience. and for many that world is just becoming a place they dont want to be. with the way our modern society is the online dating world has lost the innocence it ever held onto at the start. like many things really. of course we dont usually get this deep. but this book is a great thriller for those who have gone "ugh" far too often at the screen.
but apart from all that its still a really good thriller of a book. the type that will certainly keep the pages turning.

I really enjoyed this book!
It kept me gripped from the beginning.
Sonya is fed up with bad internet dates, she wants to teach married men or not so nice men a lesson.
She didn’t think it would lead to a murder investigation.
If you want a thrilling book that keeps you hooked, this is for you!

Thank you Netgalley for this Arc.
Wow, this was such a good thriller, so easy to read. It made you want to keep read 'just one more chapter'. I really loved the characters in this and the suspense because of all the plot twists that happened. I really liked how the little details all connected towards the end. Honestly a really nice read. It also shows just how manipulative the dating world could be.
I may get the physical when it comes out.
Solid 4.5 ⭐️

This kept me engaged and I flew through it in a wkend. Its a really easy read and is a bit of thriller/ romance. I loved how relevant it is with it focusing on modern dating and how well the characters were brought to life. It's nothing too serious or creepy but more of a lighthearted thriller of that makes sense?! Either way its really enjoyable and nothing too heavy or deep. It wad an original premise and wasn't too predictable. Really decent read

Swipe follows Sonya and Jake as they navigate the world of dating apps, albeit for different reasons.
But on MetMee, people aren’t who they say they are, and the road to love comes via some very dark turns.
I really enjoyed this. A quick and easy little thriller with some good twists.
Told in multi points of view, this kept me on my toes and turning the pages. Fast paced, a little predictable in places which is where it lost a star for me, but a fun read nonetheless.
Many thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for my advanced copy.

4.25⭐️
I really enjoyed this book! Talk about a twisty plot line. I really enjoyed the short chapters and how they all left you wanting to know what happened next. The pacing of the book was great!
I went back and forth on theories so many times I was confusing myself half of the time! Some of the twist I saw coming some I’m still thinking about! Overall a great read and I will be recommending!
Thank you NetGalley, R. G. Belsly and Bonnie Traymore for the ARC of Swipe!
Ps. If you make this a series I’m here for it!

I was looking forward to this book as the premise was intriguing. While it was a fast paced and easy read, it fell flat for me. I predicted a few of the twists which made the delivery more disappointing. This book shows promise but is just not the one for me.

Summary:
Sonya Romano is tired of disastrous internet dates, but she never intended for anyone to die. After a rough day at work and an unsettling first date, she decides to start teaching dishonest men a lesson. But when one of them—a married man pretending to be single—falls to his death after their confrontation, she realizes she’s in over her head. Meanwhile, Jake Parker, a former Pulitzer-nominated journalist at his lowest point, is assigned to go undercover and write a clickbait story about dating apps. When another married man is murdered, Jake begins to suspect a serial killer is targeting cheaters. As he gets closer to the truth, Sonya scrambles to cover her tracks. Their paths inevitably cross, and despite a growing attraction, neither fully trusts the other. But what they don’t know is that a far more dangerous predator is lurking nearby—one that could make them the next targets if they don’t uncover the truth in time.
Review:
Swipe is a fast-paced thriller that combines modern online dating culture with a gripping murder mystery. Sonya is a sharp and determined protagonist, and her investigative skills make for a compelling read as she pieces together the case. The book does a great job of weaving suspense with realistic journalism, and the twists keep the story engaging. While some aspects of the mystery might feel familiar, the blend of digital-age dangers and classic investigative work adds a fresh spin. If you like crime thrillers with strong female leads and well-paced suspense, this one is worth a read.

"aside from the psychopaths, most of us are likely doing the best we can with the hand we're dealt."

Swipe had an intriguing premise and a strong start, but overall it fell a little flat for me. The pacing is quick and the writing is accessible, which makes it an easy, fast read, but that might also be part of the issue. Everything seems to fall into place a little too easily. Characters make big decisions without much hesitation, conflicts resolve with minimal resistance, and even the more dramatic moments lack real tension or stakes.
The twists, while clearly meant to be shocking, didn’t feel entirely convincing. I found myself anticipating most of them before they happened, and the few that caught me off guard still felt underdeveloped. I wanted more buildup, more complexity, and a deeper sense of consequence for the choices characters were making.
That said, there’s definitely an audience for this kind of story. If you enjoy light thrillers that don’t demand too much emotional investment or suspension of disbelief, Swipe could be an enjoyable pick. It’s the kind of book you can breeze through in a day or two. But if you’re looking for something twisty and layered with a lot of depth or realism, this might leave you a little underwhelmed.

Swipe by Bonnie Traymore and R.G. Belsky is an electrifying thriller that kept me hooked from start to finish. , Swipe is an absolute must-read. It’s a smart, thrilling page-turner that will leave you thinking long after you turn the last page. Highly recommended!

I loved this book! Swipe is a great book. I loved how well the authors complemented eachother. The flow and variation in writing styles between them added an extra later to this book. The icing on top!
The characters were relatable and the twists keep you guessing. I loved the online dating plot. Absolutely worth a read! Make sure to check it out on publication day May 1st!
