This was a fast paced twisty page turner, what more could you ask for. I liked the storyline and after watching a lot of true crime documentaries, it’s unfortunate how true to real life this story was. I even liked the main character Sonya and some of her methods of revenge! A very enjoyable popcorn thriller.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this eARC.

Due to the description, title and all somehow I thought this book would be edgier than it was.

Character development is a bit lacking, the protagonist seeks revenge on people who rudely reject her that she meets via a dating app. We are not really provided with a reason she does so, only a nebulous mention of her childhood.

I found this book to be more of a cozy mystery than the edgy book I was expecting, which is not to say there is anything wrong with that type of book, however this novel really would have greatly benefited from stronger character development. I found it hard to relate to the various characters, and ultimately it became a bit of a meet cute book, with a side dose of mystery.

The first 35% of this book was just plain bad. I didn’t like the writing style, the female character was characterized terribly (like she was written by a man) and the male character was just plain weird. I don’t know what happened but around the 60% mark it was like a switch flipped and all of the sudden the writing was 10 times better and the story was 10 times more interesting. And then, the last few chapters completely fell flat. After everything that happened, I find it very hard to believe the actions the characters take or contemplate to wrap up the story. Super frustrating.

Fast-paced page-turner about a killer hiding out on a dating app, with some great twists, a dual female/male POV narrative, touches of humor, and a satisfying ending.

Sonya is tired of the married men that pose as single men on the dating app she subscribes to, and vows to teach them a lesson.
It lands her in hot water.

I loved this book! Many years ago, I was on a dating app, and found that 98% of the men were married, and the other 2% were ancient doddery old men that had profile photos of either male models or themselves, taken 30 years before!
Seems the practice has not stopped.

This is a page turner, I read the book in an evening, and loved the twists and the fast pace of the novel, and the short chapters.

The reality of this book is astounding, so true to life, and like I say the plot grabbed me from the beginning.

OK, I didn't agree with the way Sonya walked away from the accident, it should have been reported, but I loved the way she punished the guy who was driving drunk.

I totally recommend.
4/5 stars from me.

One word gripping... If you’re looking for atmosphere, drama and suspense, then this is definitely book for you!

This book was totally unexpected and explosive, but you’ll need to read it to find out why! I was glued to my kindle all evening until I finished it and devoured it in one sitting! I never expected the ending at all totally shocked me!

The blurb drew me in immediately I couldn’t put it down! This was a wonderful 5 star read! Love, love, loved it!
