While there are so many psychological thrillers out there, what made this one different to most I have read is that it was set in Australia. It also had everything that makes a good psychological thriller. I enjoyed it all the way through. I look forward to reading more by this amazing author.

Welcome to West Street is a gripping psychological thriller that deals with the issue of domestic violence. Amanda and her children move to West Street hoping for a new start but things soon begin to unravel. I loved the fast-paced, twisty plot. A real page-turner. Highly recommended.

Just when you think you’ve escaped a nightmare, you realize you might have just moved into a new one. Twisty and fast-paced, this book pulled me in quickly. A fairly quick read and edge of your seat thriller. Well done Nicole, another smashing book!

This author is such a good writer. I love all her thrillers and she has recently become an auto buy author for me. This was twisty and thrilling just like her other novels are. Thank you to Netgalley for the arc.

Twisty and fast-paced, this book pulled me in quickly. I enjoyed the multiple povs and feel that element was done well. This was a quick read and a solid thriller.

This is def not my favorite by Nicole. Amanda takes her two kids and leaves her abusive husband. Her neighbors are nosy women with their own secrets. While I do feel parts of this book were predictable, there were some shocks. Overall I just didn’t really care for it. Still well written.

while he is out of town on a business trip; she packs up their two children rents a house that is in need- of a lot of repair on an attractive cul-de-sac on West Street. She did research and knows it is a peaceful area where she will be safe and anonymous. Nobody knows who she is… right?
Her neighbors - Caroline, Gemma, and Mary all seem caring but know everything about everyone on West Street and they like it the way it was.
Jordan, Amanda's son, missed his dad as well as their wealthy life style - is very unhappy with his mother for moving. He is so disrespectful to his mother and is a very vocal foul mouthed child. Amanda knows he has learned this behavior from his dad making it even more important to get away from her husband.
Caroline and Gemma were both in abusive and believe all men must be.

Part of the story talking about the abuse were very uncomfortable however necessary to set the stage.
In fact in Nicole Trope’s “A Letter from Nicole” she tells there are indeed many good men in this world – her father, brother, husband and son to name a few but created Caroline are there are many who can relate to her angry at men. She tells us more about the characters. Also how her characters reach out to her and story goes a director she hadn’t planned.

I always love when an author give us the inside scoop on their thoughts in creating a story.

Welcome to West Street is a highly addictive physcological thriller that had me on the edge of my seat holding my breath! The characters are flawed and unlikeable but I felt like I wanted to get to know them. The danger had me eager to learn what would happen next and the ending is definitely a WOW moment. It's well crafted plot will have you eagerly devouring the pages waiting for the bomb to drop!

I felt for Amanda and her situation. I was not prepared for the neighbors, a strange crew. The ending was far fetched but it was a fast read.

Wowza. I was surprised at how this unfolded in such a dark and twisted way. The storyline is packed with punches, and it’s impossible to dodge them.

My heart hurt for Amanda. All she wanted was to escape and find peace and safety for her children. She never anticipated she was jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

These characters are all so well done. The intensity builds smoothly, and then the floor is ripped away, leaving you with a brutal truth.

This was a masterfully crafted story, with every piece completed and wrapped with purpose. I devoured this book. The short but fast-moving chapters kept me engaged until the very end. I highly recommend it!
