This kit, designed to assist book club members with their discussions of Lisa Jewell’s book “Breaking the Dark” has several elements.

Up front, a Note to Readers that highlights possible trigger events readers will find in the story.

First, an author interview where several questions that are likely to be asked by book club members are addressed.

Next are several questions for discussion as the group reads the book. Two questions from the author are also included.

Following these questions, a treat for readers. Printable bookmarks are included in the kit.

For clubs that include snacks in their meetings, there are links several recipes for munchies and drinks.

Several activities related to the book are included so that members of the group can channel the mystery and thriller energy of the book.

For puzzle enthusiasts, a word search [with answers] is also included.

This is one of the best book club kits I've seen! It really has everything, including an interview with the author, activity, food and drink pairigs, a printable bookmark and word search. Really fun and thorough. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for creating and sharing this guide.

I'm not really a Marvel girlie, but this guide is extensive with tons of information, fun activities and even snacks. If you are reading this as part of a book club I definitely recommend checking it out!

Very grateful for the additional resources to incorporate into our book club discussions! It is often hard to find good discussion question and "extras" to make discussing the book both more fun and more enlightening!

I loved this kit, especially the author interview aspect. I always like seeing behind the scenes of a book and getting the author's experience of their own book. Lisa Jewell is a fantastic and fun author, and I loved her answer to the superpower question. I can't wait to read more of her books!

The author interview was very informative and helped set the mood for the boockclub. The questions provided were excellent and helped keep the discussion of the book going. I like the provided bookmarks as well. If I had planned ahead, I would have had them printed out before the book club so they could use the bookmarks while reading this book. I would love to see more book club kits in the future.
