Beautiful for Bonding
This is a beautiful book to cement the relationship with a mother and son. The message supports a growing relationship to last a lifetime.
This book would make a great read to add to your routine if you may be going from one son to more children (expecting, fostering, adopting, etc.). This could also support divided custody and encourage a foundation for the child.
The illustrations were breathtaking, animated dimension quality and fully captivated my attention.
I received a copy of this book from Delilah Doodle and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op. I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

Always In My Heart by Delilah Doodle is a wonderful tribute from the author (or metaphorically, any mother) to her beloved son. Written as a wonderful letter of admiration, the narrative confides in the young boy how much he is loved and trusted to grow up making friends and making the right choices and decisions along his path through the world.
With bright and colorful illustrations, this children's book is a wonderful addition to any young boy's personal library-- or even for girls who happen to be best friends with young boys.

This was a very special book showing all the ways that a mothers love will always surround her child wherever they may go. Beautiful illustrations.

This book is so sweet and actually written really well! There aren't very many books like this one out there, and I give lots of credit to the author for making this book unique in that way. Additionally, the author's choice to make each page a couplet worked perfectly! It allowed the book to flow at a nice pace, like a song. The rhymes actually made sense, weren't forced, and worked, so bravo for that. However, I did subtract a star from my rating because of the illustrations. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it definitely seemed like the images were AI-generated. Normally this would be fine but, unfortunately for this book, that meant that each character had a blank and lifeless stare, their eyes staring off into space, not looking at anything in particular. This is a small critique, but I think it's important for characters in kids' books to have emotion. That, and it just gives the book a weird kind of feeling. Overall, though, great book!

The text and the messages in this very compact book are lovely.
You feel the love of the parent for their son.
As you can see from the cover, this book is full of AI-generated images.
I was awarw of that upon picking it up. I wanted to read about the mother’s love for her son, and I got it.
The visuals are not to my liking in general, too bright, too artificial, but they are cute.
The design requires some work because the text becomes a bit lost in the brightness of the pictures/background at times.

I did not enjoy this book at all. It appears like everything is AI generated - both the images and the text - and nothing appeared to be edited before being sent to publication. For example, sentences rhyme but don't make sense together, the mother and son are never actually looking at each other, there is no water coming out of the watering can, the ratio sizing of the mother to son are off, where the shadows are placed in the images are incorrect, the words on some pages were very difficult to read because it was black on a dark colored background - I could go on. Additionally, the language isn't consistent for any specific age group - using words like confide, challenge, and endeavor, but then simple sentences about being proud of him indicate a mix between tween and preschool age. So, it's unclear who this book is aimed at. There's no consistency between the words and the images - the backgrounds don't really have anything to do with the text on the page save for maybe one or two words (rather than the message on the whole). I'm really appalled, frankly speaking, and I don't feel like this author is one I would choose to read again.

Always in My Heart is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated book with a touching message perfect for a son. The rhyming text creates a delightful, sing-song rhythm that makes it an engaging read-aloud for kids. The vibrant pictures bring the story to life, adding to its charm. Beyond its sweetness, the book carries a meaningful message about love and connection, making it a wonderful way to reassure children that they are always cherished, no matter where life takes them.
Thank you to netgalley for the free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Super cute book! I will agree with other reviews that the font needs to be changed along with the color. It's extremely difficult to read on some of the more colorful pages.
The story was well write, and as a mom of a.little boy, it hits me right in the feels!!

A beautiful book that oozes of love of a mother has for her child, her son. It's warm and beautiful - every line, every page with wonderful illustrations of the mother-son duo. The lines, so simple, speak of a mother's unconditional love and support for her child, be it rain or sunshine, in happy or glum and difficult times. The lines have a rhyming pattern too, they feel lyrical, warm and special.
The only complaint is of how a black font is used constantly through the read irrespective of some pages having a dark blue or green background, so it amounts to being unable to read the line or some words in a page like it happens on pages. 18 and 23, for instance. Little attention to the font and color could have could this problem and made the reading experience better.
A beautiful read and many thanks to Netgalley for the copy.
