Disclaimer: I don't watch Toy Story movies, even though they're brilliant, because it makes me sad watching the important things kids leave behind as they grow up. In this story, a dog chews a beloved toy and the adult throws away the now imperfect toy, making everyone sad. But then we see the adventures the toy goes through before making its way back where it belongs. It's okay to keep important memories from childhood that comfort you.

Thank you for the ARC. I didn’t care for the drawings. Some of the people looked quite scary. The story overall was cute but a bit longer than necessary. We all have had a favorite toy discarded.

This book is part of one of my favourite types of children's literature, one that inspires hope with its words. Help comes from the unlikeliest places sometimes, and this book embodies that perfectly. I especially enjoyed Luna making up for her mistakes by returning Albert to Jonas, it was such a sweet ending.
This book made me go through many emotions: anger, sadness, happiness, excitement and hope. It's a perfect mix for a book with a bittersweet storyline, because we have all had our childhood toys discarded at some point and we have to put the pieces back together.
