A raw and emotional memoir of a person who lost their husband abruptly to cancer. It follows the aftermath and challenges coping with the outcome and engagement with relatives. Heart felt account from the author. Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.

Thelma Ainsworth's "I Am A Wolf Tonight" is absolutely unputdownable. This is a powerful, riveting, and unique memoir, Not only is it well-written, fascinating, and raw; it's deeply relevant for readers who have family members with narcissistic qualities. Ainsworth never paints herself as a victim or martyr despite the emotional abuse she suffers from her family during one of the most heart-wrenching experiences in life. Memoir is my favorite genre, and while I've read hundreds of memoirs, "I Am A Wolf Tonight" rises to the top of my favorite books; it's simply an amazing work that I will never forget.
