I was pleasantly surprised by ‘Take me to the Wedding.’

It’s my first book by Dr. Miranda Liasson, and hopefully it won’t be the last.

I found this enemies-to-lovers romance to be heartwarming, engaging, humorous and deep. I highly recommend it.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the e-ARC of this lovely read.

This was a beautifully written enemies-to-lovers, best friend’s brother, slow-burn romance that truly captured the emotional depth of both main characters. Caleb and Samantha are total opposites—like oil and water—constantly clashing with fiery banter and unresolved tension. As coworkers living across the hall from each other, they're already too close for comfort. But when a weekend wedding forces them into even closer quarters, sparks really begin to fly—and not just the argumentative kind.
What makes this story stand out is how it shows love often arrives when you least expect it. It’s a heartfelt reminder that when you let your guard down and allow yourself to be vulnerable, the right person won’t let you fall—they’ll be right there to catch you. This was a truly wonderful read, and I’m absolutely loving the Doctors of Oak Bluff series!

I love a good Dr. romance as of late and this one was really unique and different which I loved. Usually it’s more centered around the female character looking for love and this time it was the male trying to see if he missed “the one” unknowingly that it may just be right in front of him. Equal parts heartwarming, funny, and touching this was a absolutely beautiful novel and gorgeous story
