Come and Get Your Glove is the third book in the Sweet RomCom Hockey series but can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
A romance that starts with a vomit-covered kid? Who would have thought such a thing could work... and yet in this story, it somehow did! The bulk of Jackson and Kaci's story takes place over just a few days... but my goodness, what a few days they were! Both of these characters are having the worst kind of days--- everything going wrong. And yet, they find each other is the midst of it all. Their story had me chuckling throughout, seeing all the ways life keeps throwing them curveballs... the romance in the midst of that was really sweet and I couldn't help but root for them to get their happily ever after through it all. I read a lot of hockey romcoms, but this one was definitely unique in the best ways possible.
Come and Get Your Glove is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
**ARC received via Netgalley for consideration. All opinions are my own.

A fun short read. Jack and Kaci don't have he best first meeting and she is reluctant to give him a chance. I liked how it was told from both points of view.

I love a hockey romance and while I did enjoy this I felt it needed something more. The writing was fine but it felt a little rushed to get to the point of the story.
In all it was a cute and quick palate cleanser in between books but it wasn’t for me.

This was such a lovely book to read.
It was absolutely hilarious how they met and how much bad luck they both seem to have that one day together. I absolutely loved how it went from disliking eachother to loving each other. The way Jackson was with Kaci and Bella but also with his nephew Rigsby was so cute. He was the best father figure you could wish in a story. The moment with the bears is something that stuck with me through the book. Also the moment at the rink with Rigsby and his pet was absolutely hilarious.
I would definitely recommend this book to friends
Sadly I can't give 4,5 stars on here but it definitely was 4,5 stars!

I thought this was a cute short story that had some doses of comedy in there! I liked the backstory of the single mom working hard to make a better life for her and her daughter, and I loved how fun the uncle was and how great he was with kids.
I thought it was a little rushed at parts and I found myself having to reread parts because it could get confusing.
Overall cute story
