While a critical look at the research on mindfulness and meditation, along with the psychological benefits of deficits, is useful, this review seems weak.
The authors are psychologists, and there is a definite bias towards classical psychology as opposed to Buddhism-based mindfulness practice.
Meditation and psychology are very different, meanwhile they can work together, they are not the same.
