This was fun if a little up and down. I enjoyed the background and fuller explanations of the myths (Odin's horse!) even if it started to fall down after halfway - I guess a lot of myths involve revenge against Loki and it's hard to maintain rhythm. The tone of voice was great and the research strong, I'm just disappointed the sequel is traditional fiction.

The retelling of Norse mythology through Loki's perspective works really well.. Would recommend it for all the mythology fans and especially all the Loki fans from the Marvel franchise.

Unfortunately I didn't connect to this book and ended up not finishing it. I will not be reviewing it since my opinions aren't based on the entirety of the book and may therefore give wrong impressions.
