Unfortunately I have to say that Acid Bubbles was a disappointment.
I tried to read it back when it first came out but I wasn't feeling it so I moved on to some other stories, but this year I wanted to give it another try, because I want to finally read all the books from my Netgalley shelf and Acid Bubbles is the one that's the longest there.
The thing about this book is that it has the most interesting premise, but it is not executed well.
The writing style is weird, and the maib character is just so... different, but not in a good way. I couldn't connect with him.
However, I have to admit not everything is bad. There were times when I really enjoyed the story.
I don't know, maybe if it had better editor or something, maybe it would be better.
