I really wanted to like this but it ended up being a transphobic mess. Hopefully the author has learned and grown from this but her characterisation of Toni was a complete miss. The inherent sexism of the characters was also awful.

It's somehow worse when a book you had high expectations of end up awful.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.
