I picked this book up to read from my Need To Read Before The Year Is Out list. This is book 2. The first book I read I so enjoyed everything about it. It was the same with this one, or maybe slightly more so.

Human trafficking, I’ve often wondered how do these children fall victim to this horrific crime and can they not escape?

After the unsolved crime lead by DI Matt Winston he really wants and needs to bring justice for Kitty. She’s been found murdered.

I also in the past have wondered how Social Workers can live with themselves when something bad happens to a child and they’ve not erred on the side of caution.
This tackles some really interesting although horrific to read such things but it’s sadly our reality.

A very good strong punching story. The plot was oh so tight.
