Barbara the Slut and Other People is a quirky collection of short stories from Lauren Holmes. Whilst I enjoyed reading the collection and it was a welcome distraction from some of the heavier novels I have been reading lately I must admit that I cannot recall many of the stories in the collection. Therefore, I would describe Barbara the Slut and Other People as a good collection but ultimately the stories do not play on your mind after you finish reading.

DNF - DID NOT FINISH
I rarely stop reading books because I am super stubborn but, this book took me a LONG time to read and I just decided to stop after getting like a quarter through over like 3 months. I just wasn't enjoying it I guess. I was hoping I would but it just didn't 'jive' with me...
