Tangled web of emotion…

I enjoyed this drama-filled story about past love meeting new love and the possibilities it brought. Friends, lovers - there are no boundaries when your heart is open….

Josh was happy and in love with his husband, Ian. He wasn’t going to put that in jeopardy for anything, or anyone. Even Michael. Michael was his first love who was recovering from an abusive relationship that left him fearful and unable to move forward. Empathy and caring had Ian suggesting an unconventional way to help Michael work through his fears. To say the road ahead was rocky was an understatement…

There was a lot of back and forth as this all unfolded. Uncertainty was a central theme as solid relationships became shaky under the weight of shifting dynamics and changing feelings. I found the premise of this story intriguing even though I didn’t connect with the characters like I hoped I would. I’m not sure if the uncertainty of their road caused me to distance myself? Maybe I didn’t want to care too much in case things went south?

Saying that, however, their story was well-written and the characters definitely spoke to me. In the end, I needed to trust the author and the love these three shared…

Great book drew me in from start to finish. Will recommend to my friends.
