DNF

I was bored by chapter 4. I couldn't stand the hero, I couldn't understand the heroine, the plot was too far-fetched and uninteresting and the pacing was too plodding for my taste.

I think I liked this book the best in the series. Jack and Marley have been working together for three years. They tried not to look at each other as anything more than employer and employee. When Marley takes off to help an old friend and Jack follows her everything changes. They start to look at each other in a different light.

There was a lot of back and forth. They would get together and it would be explosive and then they would walk away. They both had trouble facing what was in front of them. Marley came to the realization pretty quick but made some stupid decisions.

This series has had everything, action, suspense and love. I have enjoyed it very much. I hope to see more books on the other characters that are in the background working for Aegis.
