So easy to get caught up in the story. Russian mobsters with hearts of gold and feelings. Obviously, there were many liberties taken but it's all for fun. A reference was made to the movie Eastern Promises, many similarities to the movie with far more romance. This is a fantastic series that places you in a completely different world with violence, loyalty, fears, and yet love comes out on top. Got my copy from Netgalley, ages ago, and finally read it. My review written voluntarily.
