David Levithan is an author I credit with saving my life. Two Boys Kissing made me accept my sexuality and come out when it was published and I have loved every book of his since.

This was a fun read, it was so interesting to see things from Rhiannon's perspective. We see a lot more about the implications of A's actions. Their situation was always going to be difficult, and this shows sometimes in their strained relationship and comparison to Justin.

This book was like rereading Every Day but we got to hear it from Rhiannon's point of view. I really enjoyed getting to know Rhiannon more and getting her perspective on things. I feel like we got to go a little deeper into the story but I'm not sure that we needed a whole book dedicated to the retelling, a novella would maybe have sufficed. I loved the way they incorporated both books into the movie.

I don't think I would have enjoyed this as much if I'd read it straight after Every Day as it's the same story but from Rhiannon's point of view. But it's a nice, light read.
